Newly built in 1998, she accommodates 513 passengers and offers an Old World ambiance with the feel of a grand European hotel. Exquisitely appointed and graciously designed to facilitate relaxation and ease, this ocean liner reintroduces the elaborate crystal chandelier, the imperial ballroom, loom chairs in a palm-filled winter garden, fine antiques and original works of art.
The MS Deutschland sails the globe visiting over 200 ports of call from ocean to ocean and across the seven seas.Voyages include a series of sailings in the Mediterranean, Baltic, North Sea and Arctic, across the Atlantic, North, South and Central America, the South Pacific, Australia, Asia, India, Indian Ocean, Middle East and Africa.

All cabins are fully air-conditioned and can be regulated individually. All cabins have telephone, mini bar, hairdryers, color TV, and radio programs. Bathroom with shower (bathtub in suites), toilet, sink, mirror closet and razor outlet (110/230 V, 60 Hz). Bathrobes are available upon request. Some cabins have additional pulldown beds above the lower beds. Twin beds and pulldown beds are 2 ft. 11 inch./0,90 m wide and 6 ft. 5 inch./2,00 m long. Double beds (separate matresses) are 5 ft. 3 inch./1,60m wide and 6 ft. 5 inch./2,00 m long.
