Heidelberg
Built in 2004, the MV Heidelberg is a deluxe vessel, carrying 110 passengers in 54 cabins. Every stateroom on her two upper decks feature full-length French doors that open into your cabin. Only four cabins which are situated on the lower deck, feature two large port holes. Her spacious 190-square-foot cabins are configured with either twin or queen-sized beds. Original works of art can be found throughout. All double cabins are identical in size and are beautifully appointed with built-in closets, desk, shower and toilet, television, telephone and four-channel radio. A hairdryer and terry robes are available upon request. Bedding is a European-style duvet with feather pillows and eiderdowns (synthetic materials available upon request). Smoking is not allowed in the cabin or in the corridors. The vessel features six meals daily (breakfast, morning bouillon, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and midnight snack). All meals are single seating in a non-smoking dining room with five-course evening meals (up to nine courses on selected nights). Additionally, there is a bar, complete fitness center with up-to-date equipment and Wellness Spa, Panorama Restaurant, lounge, laundry service and safe deposit boxes as well as an infirmary with a qualified doctor on board. The Sun Deck has plenty of deck chairs and blankets, if needed. Captain's Welcome and Captain's Farewell Receptions are provided as well as nightly entertainment and dancing. There is one crew member for every 2.5 passengers providing the best crew-to-passenger ratio of any river vessel. This allows for a high level of service as well as sumptuous food, served course by course for the evening meal. English language announcements, menus and daily programs are provided.
