Day 1 - Hamburg, Germany Depart from your US gateway for an optional overnight flight to Hamburg.
Day 2 - Hamburg Welcome to Hamburg. Transfer (optional) on arrival to the MV Dresden, which awaits your arrival at the pier. Explore the inner and outer Alster until departure.
Day 3 - Tangermunde Cruise into this old Hanseatic town and explore on your own. The town’s ornate doorways and unique woodwork on its public buildings add to the sense of history and atmosphere.
Day 4 - Magdeburg Awake in Magdeburg, a city of striking architectural contrasts. An included morning sightseeing tour will introduce you to the Old Market, Baroque city hall, and the Cathedral of Magdeburg. Spend the afternoon taking in the beautiful scenery as the ship cruises toward Wittenberg. • Magdeburg City Tour included
Day 5 - Wittenberg and Torgau Wittenburg, made famous as the hometown of Protestant Reformer Martin Luther, is the focus of your tour today. Your excursion includes a visit to Lutherhouse, where you can view more than 1,000 exhibits highlighting Luther’s life and works. You’ll also visit the historic market square and city hall. Day 6 - Meissen and Dresden Meissen has long been associated with the porcelain known affectionately as “White Gold.” It has been produced here for over three centuries. Day 7 - Dresden and Pillnitz Palace Enjoy more of Dresden this morning with an included excursion. A coach tour will offer stunning views of the Elbe castles of Eckberg, Lingner and Albrechtsberg. Afterward you’ll explore the enchanting old town on a guided walk, stopping at the Semper Opera House, Royal Mews and Zwinger Palace. Day 10 - Prague and Passau, Germany From your hotel transfer to Passau to embark MV Mozart.
Day 11 - Dürnstein

Day 12 - Vienna Step back in time to the height of the Imperial Hapsburg Empire, where the sounds of Mozart wafts through the streets and Baroque monuments stand watch over this fascinating city. Day 17 - Passau, Germany to USA Disembark the ship in Passau and transfer (optional) to the Munich airport for your optional return flight to the US.
