Day 1- USA–Berlin, Germany
Depart from your US gateway city for an optional overnight flight to Berlin.
Day 2 - Berlin–Potsdam, Germany
Arrive Berlin and transfer (optional) to your ship in Potsdam, or transfer to the ship from your Discovery Add-On city. Enjoy the remainder of
the afternoon relaxing on the sun deck as you cruise toward Magdeburg.
Day 3 - Magdeburg
Awake in Magdeburg this morning and enjoy a City Tour, highlighting the harmonious blending of the city’s old and new architecture including the Old Market, Baroque city hall, and the cathedral of Magdeburg: the first sacred Gothic building on German soil. Spend the afternoon taking in the beautiful scenery as the ship cruises toward Wittenberg.

Day 4 - Wittenberg
This morning you arrive in Wittenberg, where you may join an optional guided tour of the town and follow “in the footsteps of Martin Luther,” the Protestant reformer who began the Reformation in the early 1500s.
Day 5 - Meissen–Dresden
Meissen porcelain, long prized by kings and collectors, and known as “white gold,” has been produced for nearly 3 centuries in the charming town of Meissen. This morning, your included excursion takes you on an extensive tour through the porcelain factory followed by a visit to the Gothic cathedral and Albrecht Castle. You rejoin the vessel in Dresden, the capital of Saxony, where your afternoon sightseeing tour of“Florence on the Elbe” (as this city is often referred to), will give you a panoramic tour around the city.

Day 6 - Pillnitz Park
This morning you’ll enjoy a guided visit to Pillnitz Park, a palace complex built in many distinctive styles. Our excursion continues to the fortress of Königstein, perched high above the Elbe River. After re-boarding the vessel in Königstein, you’re free to enjoy a leisurely afternoon on-board as we sail to the Czech Republic.

Day 7 - Leitmeritz–Melnick, Czech Republic
Enjoy Leitmeritz this morning, a charming town of Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance architecture on display in the main square. Enjoy free time to explore the town. At mid day you will cruise the Elbe through beautiful Saxon Switzerland to the small wine-producing town of Melnick at the confluence of the Elbe and Vltava Rivers.
Day 8 - Melnick–Prague
Relax on the sun deck while cruising through the charming Czech scenery of small towns, rolling hills and rich farmlands, from Melnick to Prague, “City of One- Hundred Spires.” This afternoon your guided walking tour will cover the highlights including St. Vitus Cathedral, the
astronomical clock, Jewish Quarter and the Charles Bridge.

This morning you’ll disembark in Prague. Optional transfers to the airport are available or transfer to your Discovery Add-On city.
