Day 5
Bay of Islands, North Island

Cruise to the Bay of Islands and visit the historic Waitang Treaty House, where Maori and European settlers joined to sign the treaty that established New Zealand as a nation. Stroll the quaint streets of Russell, or relax on one of the perfect white sand beaches of Motoruohia Island. MV 'Clipper Odyssey'

Day 7
Norfolk Island

Visit tiny Norfolk Island, a former Australian and British penal colony and naval depot. Explore the Pitcairn village, settled by the great-granddaughter of 'Bounty' crew member Fletcher Christian, and still inhabited by direct descendants of 'Bounty' crew members. MV 'Clipper Odyssey'

Day 8
At sea

Fascinating lectures on the history, culture and natural wonders of the regions of the Coral Sea and the Loyalty Islands continue today. MV 'Clipper Odyssey'

Day 9
Nouméa, New Caledonia

Explore French-influenced Nouméa: the main shopping center, Place des Cocotiers, the Church of the Immaculate Conception, the aquarium and the award-winning Tjibaou Cultural Center. You have ample time to linger in the shops and streets of this quaint city. MV 'Clipper Odyssey'

Day 10
Ile des Pins, Loyalty Islands

Andrew Cheyne, the first British sandalwood trader to reach Ile des Pins' shores 165 years ago, wrote in his journal, "Such a lovely spot of God's creation." See if you agree when you meet the locals, snorkel or take an outrigger canoe across the lagoon. You may also want to explore the ruins of the convict settlement that housed 2,000 deported prisoners in the 1870s. MV 'Clipper Odyssey'

Day 11
Ile Lifou, Loyalty Islands

Visit the Mucaweng vanilla plantation on the island of Ile Lifou, climb to the top of Doking Cliffs for a panoramic view of the coral beds in the bay below and browse the local shops. After lunch on board, snorkelers and divers observe some of the most scenic underwater splendors in the South Seas. Others may take in the view from a glass-bottom boat. MV 'Clipper Odyssey'

Day 12
