4 Days Haumana Blue Lagoon Cruise Tour Package
Specially designed for shallow waters, the Haumana is a boutique catamaran offering the ultimate cruise experience on the lagoon of Rangiroa. An attentive 16-person crew for a maximum of 24 guests coordinates complimentary excursions and activities, including shuttles to the secluded islets, lunches on pristine beaches and Polynesian entertainment. The 12 spacious cabins have air conditioning, queen-size bed, private facilities, mini-bar, TV and DVD/CD player. The yacht features a panoramic restaurant, terrace-bar, sundeck, outdoor Jacuzzi, three tenders, two jet skis, kayaks and fishing equipment. Non-inclusive activities: Jet skiing, private tours and scuba diving.
Itinerary Day 01 - Tiputa The Haumana team will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your awaiting floating home. After check-in (anytime from 1:30pm), you can enjoy a snorkeling tour in Rangiroa’s natural aquarium, where myriads of tropical fish will dance around you in a colorful ballet. Pre-dinner cocktail hour will be the occasion to meet the Haumana team as they introduce themselves and welcome you with beautiful Polynesian melodies. Presentation of the next day’s program and dinner will follow. The Haumana will depart during the night. Day 02 - Blue Lagoon & Faama In the morning, enjoy a tour to the Blue Lagoon, a very popular location in Rangiroa, also nicknamed “Mini Rangiroa.” Indeed, this amazing chain of islets surrounding a stunning turquoise lagoon resembles a miniature version of the Rangiroa atoll. Swimming, sunbathing and an exciting shark feeding experience will be on this morning’s program. Lunch will be served onboard as the Haumana sails towards Faama, or the “Reef Island.” In Faama, explore the lunar landscape of Rangiroa as you walk through amazing fossilized coral formations, making an impassable barrier between the calm lagoon and the ocean. Take a dip in these pure waters refreshed directly by the ocean’s waves. Before dinner, learn all the secrets of pareo tying, these islands’ traditional wear. Day 03 - Motu Ai Ai This morning, explore beautiful and wild Motu Ai Ai. Follow your crew to the reef, take a refreshing dip in one of the natural pools sculpted by time and discover the several uses of the coconut. Lunch will be served on the beach and you will get the chance to try some typical Polynesian delicacies. Afternoon will be at leisure in this little Robinson Crusoe paradise. Kayaks will be available as well as fishing equipment and of course the floating bar for a nice cocktail. Or you shall simply enjoy a “siesta” in the shade of palms. As the Haumana cruises back towards the Avatoru base, the crew will serenade you with Polynesian melodies. Day 04 - Avatoru / Farewell Today, it will be time to say farewell to the magic of Rangiroa and end your “paumotu” dream…
