Day 1, Punta Arenas – Embark In southernmost Chile, the wall of Andes becomes the coastline itself. This is the realm of the Mare Australis, sailing to the world’s most remote towns and dramatic fjords, islands and forests. Transfer from Punta Arenas airport to your ship and upon embarkation, settle into your comfortable cabin, then enjoy welcome cocktails as you depart. Mare Australis (D)
Day 2, Ainsworth Bay / Marinelli Glacier / Tucker Islet Sail through Almirantazgo Fjord to Ainsworth Bay. Go ashore for close views of Marinelli Glacier, elephant seals, a beaver dam and Magellan penguin rookery.
