"Relaxing in the warm waters of the French West Indies aboard the lovely 5 masted sailing ship Windstar Surf.....the air is humid, humid, humid and so nice and warm...sitting on the rear deck of the ship casual dining outside with the breeze blowing was still warm!! Casual dress code although if dining in the restaurant in the evening (shorts ok during the day) the men had to put on long pants (ties and jackets are prohibited!!). One of our guys wore shorts to the restaurant and was told to go and change into long pants! The cabins were large by most cruise ship standards and so well designed that Greg and I actually had empty cupboards in our stateroom...a first!! The bathroom had a ton of storage space, well lit, nicely laid out, teak floors. We had a standard category cabin and it was the most spacious, and well planned that we have seen on any ship. This ship felt like it was home, comfortable, casual, we even asked the kitchen to make us popcorn and watched a DVD in the lounge one evening. There is an entire DVD library that you can sign out movies and take them to your cabin to watch. The crew were Philippino and Indonesian males, all were so kind, happy, helpful, humorous, they certainly helped to make for a fun trip...nice to be on a "happy crewed" ship. "
