Recreation The Quinta Real's private beach club offers a large infinity pool. Water sports rentals are available from independent vendors nearby. The main plaza has two swimming pools (one a children's pool) and a lighted tennis court. The resort is located 1 mile from Huatulco's only golf course, and the concierge can arrange tee times and transportation (fees). Guests have discounted access to a nearby fitness center with cardio and weight training equipment. With only 28 suites, the Quinta Real is the preferred place to stay in Huatulco for those seeking tranquility, privacy, and fewer children than at some larger resorts. Topped by twin Moorish domes, the hotel is decorated in light cream and white, with wood-beamed ceilings and handcrafted furniture. Guests pass the day in cushioned lounge chairs next to the pool, in a shady cabana on the beach, or playing golf at the nearby course. 
Tangolunda Bay highlight the hotel's specialty restaurant. It serves international and regional Mexican cuisine plus unique French-Oaxacan fusion dishes. The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner (closed afternoons). The bar serves natural fruit drinks, cocktails, and domestic and imported wine and beer.
