Sharing a 480-acre estate with its companion hotel, the Acapulco Princess, the Fairmont Pierre Marques offers secluded accommodations in a country-club atmosphere. Bordered by a golf course and the Pacific Ocean, the hotel specializes in tennis, swimming, and sun worshipping, and is favored by vacationing couples and celebrities. For a more bustling family scene, guests hop on a complimentary shuttle to the Princess, which is also home to the Willow Stream Spa.

Hotel Amenity highlights The Fairmont Pierre Marques offers rooms in a variety of buildings, including a small tower and single-story bungalows next to the beach. It has five outdoor hard-surface tennis courts, illuminated for night play. Across the street, guests will find an 18-hole championship golf course, home of the 1982 World Cup tournament. Stretching behind the hotel is Playa Revolcadero, a flat, sandy beach popular with surfers.

Business tycoon J. Paul Getty vacationed at this site in the 1950s and then built the hotel as a summer retreat for his family and friends in 1957. The resort's original buildings were remodeled and are still part of the hotel.

Secluded hotel buildings are surrounded by tropical gardens and green lawns. The resort has three swimming pools overlooking the clean, sandy beach. In the main building, a shopping area includes a drug store, tennis and golf logo shops, and a souvenir shop.

Tabachin  Tabachin has hosted famous guests such as John F. Kennedy, Elizabeth Taylor, and Aristotle Onassis, and serves a seasonal menu of French-Asian fusion cuisine in an elegant setting. The restaurant's tequila bar offers more than 100 different varieties of the agave-based spirit. Dress is smartly casual, and trousers are required for gentlemen. Open for dinner only.

Terraza Buffet Restaurant & Bar 
Terraza serves international cuisine in an upscale, yet relaxed, open-air setting. Guests are seated on a large terrace decorated with vines and flowers and overlooking the beach. Open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (closed between meals).

Bar Pierre 
Like three bars in one, Bar Pierre has a large-screen TV and beer on tap for sports fans, a relaxed lounge area for the martini set, and an outdoor veranda for those seeking a tropical cocktail and fresh air. Open daily from late morning until late night.

Pierre's Café and Delicatessen
Pierre's Café offers fresh coffee and pastries, cheeses, wines, cold cuts, salads, sandwiches, and ice cream. Pierre's also features souvenirs, gourmet cooking ingredients, and Mexican handcrafts. Open daily from morning until late evening.
