What to expect:
Although nearby golf courses attract some guests, this resort also serves families. Children have their own pool and supervised activities. Adults enjoy low-key activities such as water aerobics and Spanish lessons.
Amenity highlights:
Containing a 15-by-15-foot spa section and swim-up bar, a huge, free-form main pool includes a sea-facing infinity edge spilling into a long, narrow pool that's perfect for lap swimming. Luxurious wood lounges supply thick, comfortable pads. Between pools and beach, a spacious sundeck includes thatched-roof palapas with hammocks. Palapas also grace a flat stretch of beach leading to gentle dunes near the water, which is not safe for swimming due to strong ocean currents.
