Dining & Entertainment: Casual and beachfront, Gaviotas offers buffet and show cooking for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It also hosts musical performances. You have a variety of delightful choices, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, at the casually elegant Albatros, which combines buffets, a la carte, and show cooking. As a bonus, the restaurant offers a front-row seat for glorious sunsets. Enjoy innovative light fare with Japanese influences and exotic juices with Caribbean accents at the Health, Sushi & Snack Bar. Maria's serves creative Mexican cuisine in an aristocratic setting. Trade Winds has specialty drinks, tasty snacks, and a deck with swings, hammocks, and lounges. Unwind in the friendly Lobby Bar, with live evening entertainment. The Show Bar is located outside the resort's theater, and there are 2 All-Inclusive Clubs with 24-hour self-service snacks, an international open bar, and activities. Recreation: Go scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, sailing, and pedal boating in the blue water off the white-sand beach. The active free-form pool is near the beach, and a peaceful Jacuzzi is on the deck by the lagoon-side pool. Both pools have in-water loungers. NOTE: The resort does not permit topless sunbathing, but the public beach areas do. Land-based daily activities include basketball, volleyball, beach football, billiards, Ping-Pong, tennis, and squash. Exercise every major muscle group in the fitness center, and take aqua-aerobics and yoga classes. Check out the video library for movies and music. The Oki Kids Club has a playground and a daily schedule of supervised activities. Go for a bike ride, and play golf nearby.
