Master Suites - The 44 Master Suites are decorated in tones of beige, cream and white and accented with marine motifs and original art to create a soothing atmosphere in which to relax and lift your spirits. Spacious, with a sitting area, dining table or desk, two phone lines, king or double bed and marble bathroom with tub, they overlook the central courtyard, mountains or city. 

Grand Class Suites -These stunning suites, which overlook the central courtyard, mountains or city, are decorated in relaxing tones of cream, beige and white and accented with marine motifs and original art. Featuring a double Jacuzzi in the marble bathroom as well as a separate, glass-enclosed shower, king-size or two double beds, they offer a welcome respite after a hectic day of business appointments or sightseeing. Forty of the Grand Class suites are located in the Executive Tower.

Governor Suites -These four stunning, expansive suites, beautifully decorated with rich fabrics, outstanding furnishings and original art, exemplify the warm, soothing atmosphere that is characteristic of Quinta Real Monterrey. With views of the central courtyard, mountains or city, high ceilings, ample workspace, a king-size bedroom, separate living room and extra bathroom, they are a haven where you can work undisturbed or relax and unwind after a busy day on the town. 

Presidential Suite -The generously proportioned, two-story Presidential suite provides guest with the ultimate in luxury. It features large windows with views of the central courtyard, mountains and city, long, elegant curtains, backlit niches displaying beautiful, hand-painted ceramic vases, outstanding décor accented with fine wood furniture, marble sculptures and original art, a plasma screen TV and an interior patio. Perfect for entertaining, it features a living room with a sofa and armchairs are arranged around a cozy fireplace and a glass-topped dining table for eight, illuminated by a magnificent chandelier.

In a setting adorned with spectacular murals and a cozy fireplace, that evokes the intimacy of a private club, guests enjoy refreshing and sophisticated drinks as well as domestic and imported wines, accompanied by live music evenings.

Quinta Real Monterrey features four attractive and functional meeting rooms, with a capacity for 24 to 350 persons. Plaza Magnolia, which is surrounded by stunning gardens, can host up to 100 guests for alfresco entertaining. With its outstanding meetings facilities, luxurious accommodations, fine dining and ample gardens, the Quinta Real Monterrey is the perfect setting for business or social gatherings.

Golf - Although the city has some really beautiful courses they are mostly private. The one exception is the 18-hole, par 70 Club de Golf Hacienda el Mirador, located in the hills just out of town. You can rent clubs at the course and caddies are available. Green fees are very reasonable.

Baseball - The city’s teams, the Sultans and the Industriales de Monterrey, are members of Mexico’s professional Triple A League and play from March to August.

Bullfights - The Plaza Monumental is the venue for bullfights, held every Sunday from March to December.

Charradeas - Mexican cowboys, many of them businessmen and professionals in real life, compete in rodeo exhibitions most weekends, usually on Sunday.

Special Events

The Serie Cart automobile race takes place in March and a Cultural Festival is held in the Old Quarter around November.

Shopping

Modern, sophisticated malls and shopping plazas are located throughout the city. All are usually filled with shoppers, a reflection of Monterrey’s booming economy. Smaller specialty shops sell gifts and crafts from all over Mexico and just about everything else you can imagine. Modern furniture stores abound as many upscale furniture factories are located here.

Nightlife

Nightlife is lively, plentiful and features a lot of diversity that should satisfythe most seasoned revelers. The center of nightlife in Monterrey is definitely Barrio Antiguo, but there is plenty of action spread out over the rest of the city. There is a wide selection of theaters, concerts with big name entertainers, discos, small coffee houses, norteña music shows, salsa clubs, jazz and piano bars, and extravagant rodeos. Many of the restaurants feature live music, mariachi bands or other entertainment. Nightlife in Monterrey seems to wind down a bit earlier than other Mexican cities, as many of the clubs shut down around 2 to 3 AM.
