Maroma is located in the state of Quintana Roo, on the Mexican Caribbean, at the Riviera Maya.  It sits on a jungle preserve measuring roughly 25 acres.  The area benefits from an excellent weather and temperature, which fluctuates between 25 to 35 degrees Celsius, 77 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit.

The site is within 20 miles south of Cancun's international airport and 45 minutes from Cancun and within a close range from cultural and historic sites.  The area itself is well served by a network of local and national roadways and the site has reasonable access to these thoroughfares.

Garden Room
Set amidst one of three pools, garden rooms are surrounded by lush tropical foliage, which provides cool shade while private terracotta terraces offer outdoor lounging areas overlooking the jungle or pool.

Premium Room
Located close to the beach, premium rooms have terraces surrounded by lush foliage or palms which provide extra privacy to the outdoor terrace along with peek-a-boo views of the ocean and steps away from the beach.

Ocean View Room
The most desirable quality of the Ocean View Room is that it is steps from the beach and has stunning views of the Caribbean Sea from the terrace.

Junior Suite
This romantic suite has a large bedroom with a sitting area and features two terraces surrounding the suite.

Master Suite
Unobstructed views of the ocean and surrounding area are the signature of Maroma's Master Suites.

Sian Nah Suites
Our Sian Nah suites, Mayan for "House of Heaven," are eight ultra luxurious ocean front suites that are complete sanctuaries equipped for spa treatments, include fitness equipment, separate living areas and spacious outdoor terraces with private plunge pool.

Casa del Mar
Within the Casa del Mar is a one bedroom suite, a master suite and two junior suites. These newly remodeled accommodations are equipped with their own very special amenities.

Villa Pisces
This four-bedroom villa is located in front of "The Best Beach in the World," awarded by the Travel Channel for three consecutive years.

El Sol
El Sol is Maroma's formal dining restaurant, which is located in a seperate dining room and offers dramatic ocean views. Executive chef Guilliermo Gomez presents innovative Mexican cuisine, blending the flavors of Yucatan, Maya and Creole Cultures with his own approach to create dishes like grilled rib-eye beef with mole escargot over huitlocoche ragout. The wine cellar boast a wide choice of the finest wines in the world.

El Restaurante
At El Restaurante, our more casual dining room, also with ocean views, the focus during the day is on the classic Yucatan cuisine, which uses local ingredients like plantains, mango, cactus paddle, avocadoes, red snapper and sea bass. In the evenings the menu draws on Executive Chef Guillermo Gomez's Argentinean heritage with a "Caribbean Steakhouse" offering.

Cilantro
Cilantro is the newly renovated Spa Cuisine restaurant in a lush tropical setting by the pool.

The Bar
The bar is located in the main building and is open daily from 5 pm until 10:30 pm.

Freddy's Bar
Beverage service is available on the beach from 9 am until 9 pm daily. Light meals available at the bar from 11.30 am to 5 pm.

Beach Service
Enjoy the sun and receive personal and attentive service from the comfort of your lounge chair.

In Room Dining
Enjoy the sun, the stars and the sound of the waves while dining in the privacy of your room.

Chef Guillermo J. Gomez, oversees the boutique hotel’s three restaurants and strives to give each menu its own unique personality.

* Wellness centre located in the adjacent Aquarius area of the resort offers cardio machines as well as free-weights, and spinning classes. A personal trainer is available for appointments.

Maroma offers a variety of choices on and off-site. Enjoy the use of the three swimming pools, Cultural Palapa, or for something a little more active why not try diving, sport fishing, kayaking, parasailing, sailing, swimming with dolphins, or golf.

The fabulous reefs surrounding Maroma invite you to see the huge variety of corals, colorful fish and extraordinary creatures that live just under the surface in our backyard. Our currents are as gentle as our guides so you don't have to be a strong swimmer or an expert to enjoy our incredible adventures in the water.

Tennis - Practice your tennis in the middle of the jungle with a tennis pro.

Sailing - If above-water activity is of more interest, there are Hobie-cats and kayaks.

Swimming with Dolphins - This is a terrific opportunity to swim closely with one of the amazing creatures of the ocean.

The Maroma experience is an excellent way for groups of any types (business meetings, weddings and social gatherings) to come together in a relaxed, inspiring and private atmosphere. 

Maroma is ideally suited to host business events and intimate executive board meetings.  El Violoncello, our multi-media meeting room set in the lush tropical gardens, can seat up to 72 people in air-conditioned comfort.

State-of-the-art conference and audiovisual equipment is available along with complete banquet service.
