The word "Thalasso" comes from the Greek word meaning "ocean," explaining the literal meaning of the word Thalssotherapy - therapy from the ocean. Natural salt water taken at a certain depth from the bottom of the ocean and its marine elements such as seaweed, thermal clay, plankton and phytoplankton are some of the indispensable elements that are used in Thalassotherapy. Our Mexico resort spa also offers a beachside exercise center, fitness classes, yoga and a large saltwater hydrotherapy pool for treatments or for just lounging around and enjoying the surrounding scenery. You can also experience the Mayan healing ceremony of the "Temazcal" at our Maya Riviera spa. This ancient ritual is a traditional steam with herbal essences, held with a Shaman who guides you through the various stages of this unique and unforgettable experience. The Presidential Suite is a private villa with two master bedrooms, each with their own on suite bathrooms with sunken baths, glass showers and handcrafted sinks. Adjoining each bedroom is its own large living area containing color TV, CD/DVD Player and a minibar. The suite also has its own kitchen and a dining room with seating ability for 10 people. A plunge pool and private wrap around terrace offer the ultimate in privacy.
