Chetumal operates flights to and from Mexico City, Cancun and Merida international airports. To arrive by car from Cancun, one must take federal highway Chetumal-Escarcega until reaching the town of Francisco Villa (Pancho Villa, km 62), then turn left (south) for almost 6 more km (4 miles). Besides these last 6 km.- theyre a little backroadish to Kohunlich architectural zone and you need to keep an eye out for signs to the resort - the highway system is good and the scenery beautiful.
