Day 1. (Fri) Arrive Tel Aviv – Jerusalem. Upon arrival at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport you will be met by local representative and transferred to your selected hotel. D

Overnight in Jerusalem (3 nights)

Day 2. Excursion to Dead Sea, Massada and Qumran. Your route today takes you to the shores of the Dead Sea - the lowest point of earth. Drive south to Massada. Ascend by cable car to the top of the mountain to marvel at Herod's fortress - visit the synagogue, storehouses and more. Enjoy a short swim in the Dead Sea. Drive to Qumran, where the Dead Sea scrolls were discovered. BD

Day 3. Jerusalem - New City. Visit the Hadassah Medical Center and see the Chagall stained glass windows. Proceed to Bayit Vagan to see the miniature model of Jerusalem as it was during the Second Temple era. Continue to Yad Vashem memorial to the Holocaust and then to the Israel Museum; visit the Shrine of The Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are on display. See the Knesset, the Supreme Court building and the campus of the Hebrew University. BD

Day 4. Jerusalem - Old City - Tel Aviv/Amman. Today we visit the Old city, the Western Wall, Temple Mount and the Dome of The Rock. Continue to the Pool of Bethesda and the Church of St. Anne, and then walk the Via Dolorosa. In the afternoon we visit St. Peter in Galicantu and Mt. Zion; here you will visit the Room of The Last Supper and the tomb of King David. This evening we will fly from Tel Aviv to Amman (cost not included). BD

Day 5. Amman/Petra. This morning we will visit Petra, Jordan's most exciting site. Carved out of the craggy rock mountains south of the Dead Sea by the Nabataean traders more than 2000 years ago. See the gigantic Monastery, the High Place and the Roman-styled Palace Tomb. BD

Day 6. Petra/Mt. Nebo/Amman/Cairo. On the way to Amman, a stop at the historic Mt. Nebo. Continue to Madaba to see the sixth century Byzantine mosaic map of Palestine, possibly the oldest map of Holyland in existence. Evening flight from Amman to Cairo. B

Overnight in Cairo (2 nights)

Day 7. Cairo. This morning, experience the fabulous Egyptian Museum regarded as one of the most prominent in the world. After lunch, we proceed to Cheops' Pyramid and the Sphinx. East of Cheops Pyramid is the Solar Boat Museum housing the spectacular funerary boats. We will also get to visit the bazaars for bargains galore! BL

Day 8. Cairo/Luxor. This morning we fly south to Luxor where we will cross the Nile to the West Bank to explore the New Kingdom city of “Thebes”. Sightseeing includes the Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens, the stupendous Deir El Bahari mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch we visit the Luxor and Karnak Temples. BD

Day 9.*. Fly Luxor to Cairo (*optional Abu Simbel excursion). Today we fly to Cairo, upon arrival you will be transferred to your selected hotel. Guests on the “Abu Simbel excursion will fly from Aswan to this dramatic site then fly back to Cairo where you will be transferred to your selected hotel. B

Overnight in Cairo

Day 10. Depart Cairo. Today you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight. B
