Tour Itinerary
Day 1. (Sat) Arrive Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo Airport you will be met & assisted by Our local representative and transferred to your chosen hotel. The remainder of your day is at leisure.
Day 2. Cairo
Today you visit the fabulous Egyptian Museum; the Solar Boat; Cheop's Pyramid; the Sphinx and Bazaars. BL
Day 3. Cairo/Luxor – Cruise
 Transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your chosen ship, your floating hotel for the next 5 days as you cruise up-the-Nile. This morning you cross the Nile to Luxor's West Bank "Thebes". Sightseeing includes the Valley of the Kings and Queens and the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch, you will visit Luxor and Karnak Temples. Day 4. Nile Cruise – Sail Luxor to Edfu
Early morning sail to Edfu via Esna lock. BLD
Day 5. Nile Cruise - Edfu to Kom Ombo to Aswan
An exhilarating carriage ride takes you through town to the Temple of Horus, the Falcon God. Continue sailing to Kom Ombo to visit the Graeco-Roman style Temple of Sobek, the Crocodile God. Standing serenely on a hilltop, the site offers an incredible view over the Nile. BLD
Day 6. Aswan – Cruise
Morning sightseeing includes Aswan's High Dam, the ancient Granite Quarries, and the Temple of Philae. After lunch, sail around Elephantine Island and the Botanical Gardens. BLD
Day 7. Aswan to Cairo (*Optional Abu Simbel Excursion)
Disembark after breakfast and transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo where you will be met and transferred to your Cairo hotel for overnight. *Passengers who purchased the "Abu Simbel" Optional Excursion will fly from Aswan to this dramatic site then fly back to Cairo where upon arrival you will be transferred to your chosen hotel. B
Day 8. Cairo to St. Catharine's Monastery to Nuweibaa'
Early morning we cross the Red Sea and continue by motorcoach to the Sinai Peninsula, which contains great stretches of extraordinary desert scenery. The landscape ranges from high granite mountains, deep chasms to fertile green oases. Your imagination will be captured by the biblical traditions of its ancient past. This is where Moses led the 12 tribes of Israel from slavery in Egypt to the Promised Land Jebel Musa and Mount Sinai of the Old Testament where Moses received the Ten Commandments from Jehovah. You will also visit St Catharine's Monastery before heading to Nuweibaa' for your overnight stay. BLD
Day 9. Nuweibaa'
Today is at leisure to relax and soak up the sun. BD
Day 10. Sinai – Aqaba - Petra
After breakfast in Nuweibaa', cross to Aqaba by hydrofoil and continue to Petra through a land of mesmerizing beauty and contrast. BD
Day 11. Petra
Visit Petra, Jordan's most exciting site. It was carved out of the craggy rock mountains south of the Dead Sea by the Nabataean traders more than 2000 years ago. Travel by horseback or carriage through a narrow siq; the sudden view of the spectacular Treasury is dramatic. See the gigantic Monastery, the High Place and the Roman-styled Palace Tomb. BD
Day 12. Petra to Amman
On the way to Amman, a stop at the historic Mt. Nebo, which offer a remarkable view of Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the spires of Jerusalem at a distance. Continue to Madaba to see the sixth century Byzantine mosaic map of Palestine, possibly the oldest map of Holyland in existence. BD
Day 13. Amman via Jerash/Ajloun to Amman
We journey to the ancient city of Jerash to see the remarkable remains from Neolithic times, as well as Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Omayyad and others. Jerash's golden age, however, arrived with Roman rule. Today it is acknowledged as one of the best-preserved Roman provincial towns in the world. A short trip northwest from Jerash we will visit Ajloun, where you will find the ancient ruins from the time of the Crusaders. BD
Day 14. Amman
Today is at leisure to explore the city on your own. B
Day 15. Depart Amman
You will be transferred to Amman Airport for your onward flight. B
