Days 1-2: Arrive in Muscat, where you are met and transferred to your hotel. Perched on the furthest point of the Arabian Peninsula, Oman has coastline on the Arabian Sea, Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Gulf.

Return to your hotel for afternoon tea.
Day 4: Travel to Wadi Bani Awf, one of the most famous historical routes through the Western Hajar mountains. Take a gentle trek to the village of Balad Sayt for a picnic lunch.
Day 5:
Continue your journey at Jebel Shams, the highest mountain of the Jebel Al Akhdar range. Drive to Wadi Ghul, a village known for the Omani rugs woven by locals with the predominantly red thread dyed with madder, a rich coloring from India.
Day 6: Nizwa is the silver capital of Oman with its traditional souk renowned for its silver, brass and coppersmith craftsmanship. Visit Nizwa Souq where traditional crafts are still made in workshops.
Day 7: Spot dolphins from a boat ride along the Arabian Peninsula toward the old town. Indulge in an impressive variety of date products at the gourmet Bateel date store.
Day 8: Return to the harbor district and view the maps, military equipment and weaponry at the Sultan's Armed Forces Museum. Go shopping at the Muttrah souk and the Omani antique shops before returning to your hotel to freshen up before your international flight home.
