Tour Itinerary

DAY 1:
Arrive in Auckland where you are met and transferred to your luxurious retreat, Huka Lodge.

DAY 2:
Depart your lodge by 4-wheel-drive vehicle to Kinloch to begin a nature walk to Kawakawa Bay, with a cruise across Lake Taupo.

DAY 3:
Travel to Rotorua for a close up look at Wai-O-Tapu - a geothermal wonderland, followed by a visit to Kiwi Encounter.

DAYS 4-5:
Board the Tranz Alpine Express train to Cass. Take a 4-wheel-drive tour around the 43,000 acres of high country farmland.

DAY 6:
Reboard the Tranz Alpine Express towards Greymouth where you are transferred to Franz Josef, stopping en route for a behind-the-scenes visit at a local greenstone gem gallery.

DAY 7:
Take a heli-glacier flight before proceeding to Lake Moeraki.

DAYS 8-9:
Drive to Queenstown for a flightseeing tour and cruise of Milford Sound.

DAY 10:
Drive to Glenorchy for your jet-boat safari on the Dart River.

DAY 11:
Board your onward flight.
