Tour Itinerary
Day 1 ~ Auckland
On arrival you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day, you are at leisure.
The Heritage Auckland /SKYCITY Hotel / Copthorne Anzac Avenue
Day 2 ~ Auckland/Waitomo/Rotorua
Today, travel south to Rotorua via the pastoral province of Waikato. Visit the fascinating Waitomo Caves for lunch and a guided tour of the famous Glow Worm Grotto. In Rotorua this evening, enjoy a Maori Hangi(feast) and concert.

Day 3 ~ Rotorua Sightseeing
Today, experience the many varied sights Rotorua has to offer. Visit Rainbow Springs, the Agrodome Sheep Show and Te Puia Thermal Reserve. Learn about traditional Maori crafts at the Maori Arts & Crafts Institute, then enjoy an afternoon at leisure.
Day 4 ~ Rotorua/Queenstown
Fly to Queenstown (flight not included), where you will be transferred to your hotel. Rest of day at leisure.

Day 5 ~ Milford Sound Excursion
Travel along the shores of Lake Wakatipu to Te Anau, gateway to Fiordland National Park. Join your Milford Sound cruise to explore the wonder of this majestic fiord and see the seals and dolphins which inhabit this part of the world (subject to weather conditions). Return to Queenstown.
Day 6 ~ Queenstown at Leisure
Day at leisure.
Day 7 ~ Queenstown/Mount Cook/Christchurch
Depart Queenstown through the Kawarau Gorge, on to the Lindis Pass and into Mount Cook National Park. We suggest a scenic flight over some of New Zealand’s finest alpine scenery (optional, own expense). Then, travel through MacKenzie Country via Lake Tekapo, where you can view the solitary Church of the Good Shepherd before reaching the Canterbury Plains and continuing to Christchurch, arriving approximately 7:30 p.m.
