Day 2. Explore Abel Tasman National Park. Cruise to Onetahuti via the Seal Colony, and then walk one of the most picturesque sections of the Park. Rejoin the boat to return to Nelson. Day 3. Nelson to Punakaiki. Board the coach to journey to Punakaiki to see the famous Pancake Rocks and your overnight accommodation. There is time this afternoon to walk through the Park. Punakaiki Rocks Hotel Day 4. Punakaiki to Franz Josef. Journey south by coach to Franz Josef for two nights. Day 5. Franz Josef. Today is at leisure to explore the Glaciers. Walk to the terminal face, or perhaps take a helicopter scenic ride. Day 6. Franz Josef to Queenstown. Continue south to Queenstown.
