DAYS 1-2: Auckland/Rotorua

Arrive in Auckland with time to relax before a trek through the magnificent Waitakere Ranges. Drive to Rotorua, enjoying the view of the lush, scenic pastures of the Waikato. Pause en route for lunch at a local deer farm and tour the site with its owner. Arrive in Rotorua, a hot spot of geothermal activity, famous for its bubbling mud pools and spouting geysers.

DAY 3: Rotorua
