Day 1. Arrive Auckland. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your centrally located hotel. Crowne Plaza Auckland
Day 2. Auckland to Bay of Islands. Journey north and visit the Matakohe Pioneer Museum then travel through the Waipoua Kauri Forest Reserve. Continue to the subtropical Bay of Islands and on arrival enjoy a guided tour of the Waitangi Reserve. Waitangi Resort
Day 3. Bay of Islands. (Your Choice) Today you have the opportunity to personalize your sightseeing and we will include the activity! Choose to sail aboard a unique schooner before enjoying a tasty BBQ lunch, try your hand at deep sea fishing or ride the Excitor Speedboat.
Day 4. Bay of Islands to Auckland. This morning our catamaran cruise takes us on an exciting journey to Cape Brett and the famous 'Hole in the Rock'. Return to Paihia where our coach departs for the return journey to Auckland, the 'City of Sails'. Crowne Plaza Auckland
Day 5. Auckland to Rotorua. We travel south to Waitomo Limestone Caves to enjoy a tour of the incredible glow-worm grotto, before continuing to the geothermal city of Rotorua. Tonight is a unique experience as we enjoy a Maori Hangi (feast) and cultural performance. Millennium Rotorua D
Day 6. Rotorua. (Your Choice) Today you choose from a range of exciting experiences and we will include it! Perhaps soak in the thermal waters of the Polynesian Spa, or cruise on board the Lakeland Queen. Millennium Rotorua or Country Stay option.
Day 7. Rotorua to Wellington. Today we journey south and view Wairakei Steam Valley, and Lake Taupo, New Zealand's largest lake. Cross the vast volcanic plateau of Tongariro National Park to the nation's capital, Wellington. Hotel Intercontinental
Day 8. Wellington to Nelson. Cruise across Cook Strait to the South Island and see the magnificent scenery of Queen Charlotte Sound before arriving Picton. Rejoin our coach and travel to Nelson, where upon arrival the remainder of the day is at your leisure. The Rutherford Hotel
Day 9. Nelson to Franz Josef. Leaving Nelson this morning, we follow the Heritage Highway to the rugged West Coast and enter the World Heritage-listed area of South West New Zealand. Franz Josef Glacier
Day 10. Franz Josef to Wanaka. View incredible scenery today as we leave this World Heritage-listed area traveling through Haast Pass and over the incredible Southern Alps. Continue to Wanaka for the evening. Edgewater Resort
Day 11. Wanaka to Queenstown. Depart Wanaka this morning and journey to the delightful village of Arrowtown, an old gold rush settlement. Continue to the alpine resort of Queenstown, situated on the banks of Lake Wakatipu. Novotel Gardens Hotel
Day 12. Queenstown. (Your Choice) Today you choose the activity and we will include it. Tonight, a choice of dinner experiences. D
Day 13. Milford Sound to Te Anau. Today, travel to Milford Sound and board the Milford Mariner (weather permitting). Journey the length of this ancient fiord, sailing below mile-high Mitre Peak. This afternoon we take a relaxing journey to Te Anau. Te Anau Villas
Day 14. Te Anau to Dunedin. (Your Choice) Today we journey to the southern-most coast and view Paua shell being created into jewelry. Continue to Dunedin, the 'Edinburgh of the South'. On arrival you choose the activity and we include it. Southern Cross Hotel
Day 15. Dunedin to Mount Cook. Travel north along the coast to view the unique and fascinating Moeraki Beach boulders. Continue to Mount Cook National Park, a World Heritage-listed area and home to Australasia's highest mountain. The Hermitage
Day 16. Mount Cook to Christchurch. This morning we visit the beautiful glacier-fed lake of Tekapo and view the tiny Church of the Good Shepherd. Travel through Burkes Pass to the vast patchwork plains of Canterbury and onto Christchurch. Crowne Plaza Christchurch
Day 17. Christchurch to Wellington. View spectacular seascapes as we travel along the east coast to Picton. Board the Interislander ferry to cross from the South to the North Island. Hotel Intercontinental
Day 18. Wellington to Taupo. Travel to Napier, an area dominated by orchards and vineyards. There is time to explore this unique 'Art Deco' city. This afternoon we arrive in Taupo. Wairakei Resort
Day 19. Taupo to Auckland. Visit Waiotapu Wonderland, a beautiful geothermal area, before exploring Kiwifruit Country. Enjoy a guided tour through the orchard then continue north to Auckland, New Zealand's largest city. Crowne Plaza Auckland
Day 20. Depart Auckland. Today is at leisure until you are transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
