Copacabana Palace Hotel Accommodations
The Copacabana Palace has 222 rooms and suites in total, 147 are found in the Main Building, of which 71 are suites and 76 are bedrooms. Each of them are individually designed with fine period furniture and original works of art, giving a elegant yet relaxed ambiance. Views are either of the world-famous Copacabana beach, or towards the city.
Deluxe City View Rooms Located in the Main Building from 1st to 5th floors, Deluxe City View Rooms face towards the city and measure on average 23m² (248ft²).
All Deluxe City View Rooms offer King or Twin beds and feature the trademark high ceilings of the Main Building at the Copacabana Palace.
All rooms have en-suite bathrooms which vary in size depending on the location of the room. The majority have a bath with shower above, although some Deluxe City View Rooms feature shower only. Exclusive Copacabana Palace Bathroom Products are available in all rooms and suites.

Deluxe Beach View Rooms Deluxe Beach View Rooms are located in the Main Building of the Copacabana Palace. These spacious rooms have stunning views of the world-famous Copacabana Beach and some feature Juliet-style balconies.
The average size of a Deluxe Beach View room is 36m2 (387ft2) and all have King or Twin beds.
All rooms have en-suite bathrooms which feature a bath with shower above or separate bath and shower. Exclusive Copacabana Palace Bathroom Products are available in all rooms and suites.

Junior Suites Junior Suites are spacious suites located in the Main Building, with beach or city views. Junior Suites all feature King or Twin beds and a seating area within the room. These rooms measure on average 40m² (430ft²). All rooms have en-suite bathrooms which have a bath with shower above or separate bath and shower. Exclusive Copacabana Palace Bathroom Products are available in all rooms and suites.

Pool & Ocean View Suites These suites were designed by the Orient-Express French designer, Michel Jouannet. Located in the Tower Wing Building, these spacious suites measure around 65m² (700ft²) and make ideal accommodation for longer stays.
Each suite comprises of a comfortable sitting room, with an adjoining private balcony overlooking the pool and the Copacabana beach beyond. Suites located on the corner of the Tower Wing Building feature an additional second balcony with views towards the city.
The beds in the bedroom have especially comfortable Sealy orthopaedic pillow top mattresses and are made up with the exceptionally fine Troussardi bed linen.
All Pool & Ocean View Suites have bathrooms with separate shower and bath. Some also feature a small kitchen area, making ideal accommodation for families as simple meals can be prepared in the suite.

Pool and Ocean View Suites offer special services on request, such as express check-in and in suite check-out. Penthouse Suites The stunning Penthouse Suites, which are located on the 6th floor, measure more than 100 square metres. Penthouse Suites can also be joined to provide up to 220 square metres of space.
The suites have king-sized beds and have been decorated with works of art, exotic carpets and French fabrics making the ultimate in luxury and sophistication accommodation at the Copacabana Palace. Penthouse Suites feature beautiful marble bathrooms with bath and separate shower.
There are seven Penthouse Suites in total, all with a private terrace. Six of the Penthouses have views towards to Copacabana beach and one has views towards the city of Rio.
The Penthouse Floor has a swimming pool area with a wet bar which is exclusively available for residents of the Penthouse Suites offering supreme privacy and exclusivity and one of the best views in Rio.
A Butler Service is also available for guests resident in our Penthouse Suites, a service included in the nightly room rate.
Copacabana Palace Hotel Dining
Guests of the Copacabana Palace have the choice of two of Rio de Janeiro's finest restaurants, The Hotel Cipriani Restaurant and The Pérgula Restaurant.
The combination of elegant surroundings, exemplary service and gourmet cuisine ensures a memorable dining experience on every occasion.
A Pool Menu offering drinks and light meals is served on the Pool Terrace throughout the day. For guests who prefer to dine in the privacy of their bedroom, 24 hour room service is also available.
The Pérgula Restaurant At the poolside Pérgula Restaurant, guests can enjoy an extensive breakfast buffet, buffet or à la carte lunch and al fresco dinners in relaxed surroundings. Tables are available both in the air-conditioned restaurant, or on the terrace overlooking the legendary Copacabana swimming pool.
Sunday Brunch at the Pérgula Restaurant is renowned in Rio. One of the most striking features of the brunch is the wide selection of both fresh and saltwater seafood prepared by Executive Chef Luis Incao.
Saturday lunch is another highlight of the Pérgula Restaurant as the Brazilian speciality 'Feijoada' is served. This is a stew which includes a variety of dried meat, bacon, salt pork and ribs, different sausages and, most importantly, the ear, tail and trotter of a pig. Feijoada is served with white rice, farofa (fried manioc flour), kale, sliced oranges and a hot pepper sauce.

Hotel Cipriani Restaurant The Hotel Cipriani Restaurant is one of the most sophisticated restaurants in Rio and is patronised by the jet set of Rio. Open for lunch and dinner, the much awarded Hotel Cipriani Restaurant offers the very best of north Italian cuisine in a setting of elegant opulence.
Chef Francesco Carli prepares both traditional and innovative Italian dishes. Carli previously worked in the Orient-Express Hotel Cipriani and Palazzo Vendramin in Venice and many of the dishes are the same as those on Hotel Cipriani's menu.
Carli is delighted, although not surprised, with the quality of the ingredients he has found in Brazil and only supplements local ingredients with imported items, such as Italian oils and wines, when the Brazilian equivalent would compromise the authenticity and flavour of the dish.

The Copacabana Piano Bar The Copacabana Piano Bar is a sophisticated meeting place, rich with traditional charm.
Situated alongside the Copacabana swimming pool, the beauty of the location is enhanced at night by the swimming pool illumination.
The Piano Bar offers a wide selection of beverages and tobaccos and a discreet and friendly service. For your entertainment a pianist plays the grand piano every night.
