El Tupay Restaurant
In prehistoric times, the Inca used to revitalise the faith of the priests or lords of the ethnic groups of his empire by offering them presents and banquets that lasted for days.
This is known as the 'Andean reprocity' - one way of interpreting its meaning is the Quechua word tupay, which means 'meeting', or more specifically, 'to share a pleasant moment of a meal and drink'. So, in other words, a very special meeting.
At El Tupay, you can experience these very special moments of traditional Peruvian hospitality. Our chef Marco Albán, together with his team of expert local chefs, creates the finest in Peruvian and international cuisine. Through their expertise, you will experience the culinary diversity and tradition of past centuries.
