River View Bungalow

Located on the ground floor of the Resort, River View Bungalows feature private terraces for outdoor living and dining and expansive views of the Rio de la Plata.

They offer a furnished living area with private terrace for outdoor dining or relaxing.

Ideal for relaxation, these bungalows feature private terraces for outdoor living and dining.

• The sleeping area features a hand-carved bed with goosedown pillows. Mesh draping surrounds the bed, creating a dramatic look.
• The living area consists of lounge chairs, a desk and a dining table for two.
• These rooms have a ceiling fan, built-in safe in the separate dressing room, dual-line telephones (one with speaker) with fax data ports, a cordless phone, Internet access, satellite television, a DVD player, a radio/CD player and an espresso machine.
• Bungalows also offer a private terrace with a dining table and a sitting area with built-in sofa.

Suites

Bi-level Suite

With an airy, two-storey design, Bi-level Suites provide additional space and privacy.

The ground floor consists of a comfortable open-concept living area. It features locally designed furnishings, including a dining table for two and a private outdoor terrace, ideal for alfresco breakfast or late-night cocktails.

• Upstairs, the king bedroom offers an exquisite locally carved four-poster Lapacho bed and polished wood floors. Mesh draping surrounds the bed, creating a dramatic look. The rooms are accented with woven and embroidered wall tapestries, rugs from Uruguay and cosy banquettes.
• These suites have a built-in safe, dual-line telephones (one with speaker) with fax data ports, a cordless phone, Internet access, two satellite televisions, a DVD player, a radio/CD player and an espresso machine.
• Spacious, airy bathrooms feature 5.5-metre (18-foot) ceilings, an oversized tub and separate slate shower, double sinks, heated floors and a fine selection of premium amenities, including fluffy, inviting towels and bathrobes. For convenience, a separate guest powder room is located on the ground floor.

Pura

Pura, which means "temple", is the Resort's all-day restaurant, enticing guests with batik draperies and carved panels of Balinese mythical figures.

The focal point is a glass mosaic pool, from which a Balinese spirit house rises. Private dining can be arranged in three corners of the restaurant by lowering batik draperies. Corner chandeliers lit with candles can also be raised or lowered according to guests' preferences. The floor is of white crystalline granite andblue Brazilian marble.

Pura also features exceptional views of the outdoor double-cascade swimming pool and a distant view of the river. During the summer days and evenings, meals can be enjoyed on the terrace.

Specialties

Especially selected by our chef Marina Carlucci, Pura's menu is an eclectic combination of Asian, Latin and local cuisine. The restaurant features both a wood-fired pizza oven and an indoor barbecue pit, where beef is cooked on an "asado" or slanted grill.

Pastry Chef Gustavo Reyna creates distinctive pastries and fresh baked breads. A warm basket of cookies is always ready for afternoon snacking, and the chef's own fresh fruit jams and chutneys are available for purchase.

Menu items change daily and with the harvests of the seasons. Pura also offers a children's menu.

Quincho
Enjoy a memorable meal in our quincho, a private gazebo on the beach. Watch the Uruguayan sunset as you relax and enjoy a pre-dinner beverage. Then, savour a traditional parrilla – Uruguayan barbecue – with its variety of local flavours. The quincho is open for dinner; reservations are required. Seats 12.

La Estancia
La Estancia is a ranch, located near the polo field, that serves drinks from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. It is available for banquets for up to 60 guests.

Pool

The large outdoor swimming pool with double cascade is surrounded by custom-designed lounge chairs. Poolside lunches, snacks and beverages are available upon request.

Golf

Destined to be South America's premier golf course, this magnificent 18-hole, par-72 course already has critics raving about the beauty of its natural setting. Perfectly nestled in the rolling Uruguayan countryside, the course winds around numerous lakes, wetland, native trees and ornamental grass outcroppings. It presents one of South America's truest and purest tests for golfers for all categories.

The course was designed by the international architectural team at American Golf Course Design LTDA, South America's most prestigious design firm. Golfers will appreciate such details as the truest bent-grass putting surfaces south of the equator – maintained at 1/8 of an inch year round, the finest hybrid Bermuda fairways, challenging white sand bunkers and expansive lakes, all designed and maintained to create an unforgettable golf experience.

Tennis

The Resort offers two outdoor tennis courts for practice, match play or lessons from our on-site tennis pro. Located in the pine forest of the Resort grounds, the courts provide a pristine and beautiful backdrop to showcase your overhead smash. Both courts are lit for night play, and shoes, clothing, racquets and balls are available on a complimentary basis.
