Why limit yourself to the golf courses of North America when South America has such stunningly beautiful (and relatively close) courses? This itinerary showcases both the golf courses and cultural highlights in Buenos Aires, Bariloche, and San Martin de los Andes. Begin in Buenos Aires, where four nights at the Park Hyatt allows ample time to explore the city and try golf at both the presitigious Buenos Aires Golf Club and the historic Jockey Club. Next, head to Bariloche, a beautifully scenic area of snow-capped mountains and sparkling lakes. Stay at the Llao Llao Hotel and play golf at their own course as well as the Arelauquen Golf Course. Finally, spend three nights in San Martin de los Andes in Andean Patagonia. Two full days at Chapelco Golf Course (designed by Jack Nicklaus) will exceed your expectations; if you want a break from the greens, however, you can go horseback riding, hiking, fly-fishing, or help out with a cattle roundup! However you choose to spend your time here, this final segment of your trip will be the perfect ending to a truly excellent adventure.
