15 Days Brazilian Panorama Luxury Tour Package

Duration:
15 Days / 14 Nights
Priced From: Call Travelwizard

On this trip you will experience the vibrancy of two of Brazil’s cities—cosmopolitan São Paulo with its art and food, and magnetic Rio de Janeiro with its dramatic coastal setting, beach life, dance, music and celebration.

By contrast, the western wilds of Brazil bring their own excitement. Expedition along the rivers of the Amazon with ease in your private yacht, free to stop at interesting villages and view wildlife along the way.
Then, spend several days exploring Bonito, renown for the ultra-clear water running in its rivers and the Pantanal, the world’s largest wetland network. Both of these incredibly scenic areas are teeming with a myriad of plant and animal species and you’ll take private planes for better access to their best-preserved spots.

A fitting end to your stay in Brazil is two days in a glorious private villa in Angra dos Reis. The spectacular coastlines of 365 islands and over 2,000 beaches are enticement alone.

Itinerary

Day 1 Sao Paulo Chic
Early morning arrival and transfer to your hotel. Situated in the fashionable Jardins neighborhood, the Fasano is within walking distance to Oscar Freire, São Paulo’s version of 5th Avenue, with the finest Brazilian and international shops. Visit Ibirapuera Park to absorb this city’s buzz. Inside the park lie three of the city’s most important museums: MAM, Bienal and Oca. An early dinner at one of Brazil’s top restaurants will ease you into the mood of the country. The Fasano

Day 2 The Rio Negro
This morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Manaus and board your private yacht, setting sail on the Rio Negro—the Amazon’s most important tributary. As you cruise the enormous river, leave city lights behind and experience your first sunset of the Amazon. After dinner, your naturalist will discuss the uniqueness of the area’s eco-system. Aboard the 98-foot Tetiaroa, travel on the river in maximum comfort with the highest level of privacy (sleeps 12). You are able sail to truly untouched areas of the jungle, discovering isolated villages and remote beaches. Tetiaroa

Day 3 - 4 Heart of the Amazon
Wake up in the heart of the Amazon jungle, on the bank of the Rio Negro near the Cueiras River. Visit a local community in the region to better understand how the people of the Amazon live and go out for your first exploration of the forest. After lunch: swimming and kayaking. At night, a special dinner on the beach. The next morning brings you to Anavilhanas—the largest river archipelago in the world. Explore the area in small river canoes and even fish for the feisty Piranha. Also be on the lookout for grey and pink river dolphins, most abundant in the larger open areas. Tetiaroa

Day 5 Manaus to Brazilia
Rise early to see the legendary meeting of the waters where the Negro river meets the Amazon. Then head back towards Manaus before our flight to the capital city of Brazilia. An architectural guide will introduce us to this city designed by two of Brazil’s most famous architects and built from scratch in less than five years. Your modern luxury hotel is situated at the shore of Paranoá Lake. Blue Tree Hotel

Day 6 - 7 Bonito’s Crystal Clear Waters
Transfer to the airport for a flight to Campo Grande, then a private flight to Bonito, where we arrive in the afternoon. Stay in one of several elevated chalets spread out around the property near the main house in a relaxed country ambience. Explore the fabulous Rio da Prata in a two-hour river flotation along transparent waters amongst thousands of fish and virgin jungle. You will also travel to the Buraco das Araras—an unusual 400-foot deep crater, refuge for hundreds of red and Blue Macaws. Santa Esmeralda

Day 8 - 10 The Pantanal
Depart via private plane to Caiman. The Pantanal is home to iguanas, jaguars, cougars, caiman, giant otter, deer, more than 600 species of birds and 200 varieties of fish. Travel by 4x4 vehicle to explore the region, including evening trips to search for nocturnal animals. Learn about the history of the local people and the region's cowboy culture, then expedition to some of this working cattle farm’s most remote areas via horseback. On a slower-paced day, view the abundant wildlife of the quieter lagoons. Refúgio Ecológico Caiman

Day 11 The Pantanal to Rio de Janeiro
Depart very early in the morning by private plane towards the Rio Negro where we spend the day on this immense river. In the mid-afternoon we take off towards Campo Grande and our flight to Rio, arriving late afternoon. After check-in at your grand, beachfront hotel, have dinner in one of Rio’s best restaurants. Copacabana Palace

Day 12 Rio: Cidade Maravilhosa (Marvelous City)
Your day starts with an early morning trip to the top of Corcovado Mountain for panoramic views of Rio below. From there, investigates art galleries in the trendy Santa Teresa neighborhood and lunch in a contemporary Brazilian cuisine restaurant. Later, explore the beaches and shops of Ipanema and watch the fantastic sunset at Arpoador. After dinner, spend an evening in one of Rio´s liveliest music bars to listen to great samba or bossa nova. Copacabana Palace

Day 13 - 14 Tropical Ambiance
Morning transfer from Rio by car for the scenic trip to Angra. Spend two days at your leisure in one of the most beautifully located beachside villas in the country, on an island off the coast of Angra dos Reis. The villa sits on a slight knoll overlooking the water, and is surrounded by mature native trees, flowering vines, manicured lawns, a swimming pool and a tennis court. Down by the water, an expansive beachfront deck is perfect for sunning, reading or gazing at the dreamy vista of neighboring islands.
