The journey from Bariloche into Chile and onwards to Puerto Varas is on eof the best ways to join the two countries of Argentina and Chile.

There is no better way to see and appreciate the Andean mountain range than by driving through them and this short 5 day adventure not only allows that it also gives you time in the wonderful mountain town of Bariloche.

Located in the western area of the Province of Río Negro, Bariloche is at the heart of the Nahuel Huapi National Park. Lying on the southern shore of the lake after which the park is named, it is the perfect combination between the speed of the city and the tranquility of nature.

Only 1,640 kilometers away from the city of Buenos Aires, Bariloche has a hotel and gastronomic infrastructure that was first developed over eight decades ago.

The crystal clear waters, soaring mountains, stunning glaciers here mesmerize visitors. The enchanting scenery is surrounded by hills, woods, and mountains covered with snow, lakes and rivers. San Carlos de Bariloche, commonly called Bariloche, located in Argentina's Patagonia, on the southern coast of Nahuel Huapi Lake.

Day 1. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel of choice. (See below for hotel pricing).

Day 2. Today is free to explore the quaint and fascinating cit of Bariloche or to explore beyond the towns borders and into the foothills of the Andes.

Day 3. Today sees us head for the lake shore and a transit through an amazing Andean mountain lake system into Chile. The original crossing was undertaken in 1913 by a group of tourists led by Ricardo Roth who crossed the Andes Mountains along a route joining Peulla in the Chilean side with Bariloche in Argentina. A combination of bus and boat you cut through the heart of one of the most magnificent mountain ranges and regions of the world.

Day 4.Today as you continue your transit you have the morning to explore Peulla before boarding the vessel and the final leg into Chile.

Day 5. Today you are transferred to the airport or continue on with A.I. into Southern Patagonia, North to Santiago or into the reaches of the Atacama.
