DAY 2: Santiago

DAY 3: Santiago/Atacama Desert
Fly to Calama and transfer to your desert lodge. Relax before attending a briefing on the activities available to you in Atacama.

DAYS 4-6: Atacama Desert
Spend three full days discovering the Atacama Desert, accompanied by specialized guides. Explore Atacama's natural environment or the sites of pre-Columbian, colonial and contemporary cultures. Hotel Awasi B L D

DAY 7: Atacama Desert/Santiago/Mendoza
Return to Santiago and fly to Mendoza, the center of Argentina's wine industry. On arrival, your guide escorts you to the Cavas Wine Lodge. Cavas Wine Lodge B D

DAY 8: Mendoza
Tour the Catena Zapata and Vistalba Wineries. Dinner tonight is at the renowned Restaurante 1884 on the grounds of the historic Bodegas Escorihuela Gascón. Cavas Wine Lodge B L D

DAY 9: Mendoza/Buenos Aires

DAY 10: Buenos Aires

DAY 11: Buenos Aires
Enjoy a day at leisure to wander around Buenos Aires, or perhaps relax and take advantage of your hotel's spa facilities. Palacio Duhau -- Park Hyatt Buenos Aires B

DAY 12: Buenos Aires/El Calafate
Travel to Patagonia where you will enjoy the stunning vistas of this world between mountains, glaciers and blue skies. Take in the magnificent view of Perito Moreno Glacier from your hotel room. Los Notros B D

DAYS 13-14: El Calafate
Visit Perito Moreno for a scenic glacier trek. The next day, cruise on Lago Argentino to the Onelli and Upsala Glaciers. Proceed to Estancia Cristina, where your hosts serve a barbecue lunch. Visit Swan Lake before returning to La Cristina for tea. Los Notros B L D

DAY 15: Buenos Aires/USA or Canada
Head back to Buenos Aires, where this evening you board your international flight. B

DAY 16: USA or Canada
Arrive in the USA or Canada and connect to your homebound flight.
