Day 1,USA / Quito
Begin your holiday with a flight to Quito, a city of perpetual springtime in an exceptional mountain setting. You are welcomed on arrival and transferred to your hotel. Swissotel
Day 2,Quito
A half-day tour presents Quito’s dazzling colonial churches and quiet cobblestone lanes, and a bird’s eye view from Panecillo Hill. A welcome dinner completes the day. Swissotel (B,D)
Day 3,Quito / Cuenca
Transfer to the airport and fly to scenic Cuenca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend the day touring the city’s colonial delights, museums, archaeological sites and handcrafts. Mansion Alcazar (B,L,D)
Day 4,Cuenca – Ingapirca Ruins and Panama Hat weavers
Enjoy a full day in the surrounding valley. Depart to a village of weavers of the famed Panama hats, then on to the Inca ruins of Ingapirca for an afternoon visit of Ecuador’s most inspiring and extensive Inca site. Mansion Alcazar (B,L,D)
Day 5,Cuenca / Quito / Otavalo
