Day 1: Arrive El Calafate
Arrive in El Calafate on the shores of Lago Argentino, amid mountains, glaciers and beech forests. You are transferred to your lodge, located on the eastern face of Mt. Frías. Settle in and enjoy sumptuous suite accommodations, with private sitting room, and views of La Anita Valley, Lake Argentina, Torres del Paine or the Rico Branch. Set within a 3000 hectare private property in the Argentine Patagonian region, Eolo also features a wine bar, library, handicrafts room, internet connectivity, sauna room and an indoor heated pool. Day 2 & 3: El Calafate
Enjoy lectures on glaciology, local flora and fauna and listen to stories of pioneers and local legends. Included activities and guided excursions are birdwatching, mountain biking, horseback rides or hikes on Mt. Frías, and a thrilling excursion into Los Glaciers National Park to one of the must-see destinations of South America, Perito Moreno Glacier, a massive wall of ice cracking and falling 200 feet to the surface of Lago Argentina.
