Machu Picchu itself lies high in the Andes, shrouded in mystery and hidden for centuries. Lampa, known as the pink city for the light ochre color of its houses, is unique for its preservation of traditional Andean style. Set sail on nearby Lake Titicaca, its luminous waters ringed by lofty snow-capped peaks.
