Days 1-2: USA or Canada/Lima, Peru On your first full Day in Lima, embark on a tour of the "City of Kings," visiting Lima's historic center and the fascinating Larco Herrera Museum, which houses some 50,000 ceramics of the Mochica culture. Miraflores Park Hotel B
Day 3: Lima/Cusco Fly to Cusco and acclimatize before this afternoon's tour of the city and ruins of Qenqo and Sacsayhuaman, a testament to Incan engineering and architectural skills. Hotel Monasterio B
Day 4: Cusco/Sacred Valley/Cusco Explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas with visits to Ollantaytambo and Pisac, the famous indigenous market. After lunch, witness a traditional weaving demonstration. Hotel Monasterio B L

Day 7: Cusco/Quito, Ecuador Fly to Quito for an afternoon city tour. For nearly three centuries, the arts and intellectual societies flourished under Spanish colonial rule in Quito and left as souvenirs ornate churches, cathedrals and Baroque architecture in the Old Town. DayS 8-14: Quito/The Galápagos Fly to the Galápagos and board 'Eclipse.' Weather, water and wildlife conditions affect actual Day-by-Day itineraries, but visits are planned for the main islands and their landmarks. 'Eclipse' carries pangas, rubber boats that carry you to island beaches where you wander among the Galápagos' unique species. Watch sea lion sunbathing, dodge Sally Lightfoot crab scuttling past on the beach and catch the impassive eye of a century-old tortoise.
