DAY 1: USA or Canada/Lima, Peru Fly to Lima where you are met and transferred to your hotel. Miraflores Park Hotel
DAY 2: Lima
This afternoon embark on a tour of the "City of Kings," visiting Lima's historic center and the fascinating Archaeological Museum, showcasing the progression of Peru's various early civilizations from the Chavin in 1200 BC to the Incas. Miraflores Park Hotel B
DAY 3: Lima/Cusco Fly to Cusco and acclimatize before this afternoon's tour of the city and ruins of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo and Tambomachay. Hotel Monasterio B
DAY 4: Cusco/Sacred Valley/Cusco Explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas with visits to Ollantaytambo and Pisac. After lunch, witness a traditional weaving demonstration. Hotel Monasterio B L
DAY 5: Cusco/Machu Picchu Board the Vistadome train to Machu Picchu, the "Lost City of the Incas," where a late morning arrival gives you time to begin your explorations of this breathtaking Incan citadel. Accompanied by your guide, explore the city's ruins. Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge B L D
DAY 6: Machu Picchu/Cusco See Machu Picchu at sunrise before the crowds arrive. Return to Cusco this afternoon on the Vistadome train. Hotel Monasterio B L

DAYS 9-14: The Galápagos
Weather, water and wildlife conditions affect actual day-by-day itineraries, but visits are planned for the main islands and their landmarks. 'Eclipse' carries pangas, rubber boats that carry you to island beaches where you wander among the Galápagos' unique species. See sunbathing sea lions, skittering Sally Lightfoot crabs, tangles of marine iguanas, penguins, finches, pelicans, frigate birds, terns, boobies overhead and underfoot the glint in the eye of a century-old tortoise. DAY 15: The Galápagos/Quito Disembark 'Eclipse' and fly to Quito for an evening at leisure. Swissôtel B
