Amenities
This rustic resort consists of just five beachfront bungalows on Avearahi Motu, a coral islet on the southern edge of the Rangiroa lagoon. Reached via a one-hour cruise from a sister resort on the lagoon's northern edge, it offers a secluded retreat for a maximum of 10 guests per day.
Accommodations feature traditional furnishings in bamboo, ironwood, and woven palm fronds, but no phones or electricity. (Lighting is provided by lanterns delivered each evening.) Guests can mingle during communal meals and daily excursions, or simply relax in a hammock or lounge chair.
