Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Fly USA to Papeete
On arrival you are met and greeted with a traditional flower lei and transferred to your overnight accommodation in Papeete.
Day 2 Fly Papeete to Moorea
Transfer to the domestic terminal for your flight to Moorea.
Less than 10 minutes away from Tahiti by air or less than one hour by ferry are the deep, spectacular bays and white sand beaches of Moorea. The craggy volcanic peaks, reflected in the tranquil waters of Cook’s Bay and Oponohu Bay, rise like a shark’s jaw from the island's basaltic base. The lush mountain slopes are covered with rain forest or pineapple plantations, and white sand beaches border crystalline lagoons.
Day 3 Moorea Belvedere half day tour
Travel to Belvedere Point, where you experience a magnificent view overlooking the Cook and Oponohu Bays. Return through the pineapple plantation before arriving at the village of Cook Bay.
Days 4-5 At leisure, Moorea
Only 40 miles around on a well paved road along the shore, this dramatic and lush island can easily be circled by car, scooter or on bicycle for the more physically inclined. You can also enjoy horseback riding along the beach or the interior, hikes to hidden waterfalls or visit the Belvedere’s very spectacular scenic view point.
There is no town to speak-of on Moorea, but you will find a few areas along the road with clusters of shops selling miscellaneous goods, local crafts and colorful hand printed fabrics (pareos).
Day 6 Fly Moorea to Bora Bora
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Bora Bora, where you are met and transferred to your accommodation.
Day 7 Lagoonarium and Shark watching tour
Travel around the island of Bora Bora near the reef to wait for young sharks. Equipped with snorkel gear, enjoy the underwater view of the sharks and the colorful coral. Next visit the natural lagoonarium.
Days 8-9 At leisure, Bora Bora
At leisure to enjoy the lagoon surrounding Bora Bora; choose from snorkeling, swimming, or simply relax.
Day 10 Fly Bora Bora to Raiatea
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Raiatea where you will transfer by boat to Taha’a and to your accommodation.
Days 11-13 At leisure, Taha’a
Sharing a common lagoon with Raiatea and accessible only by boat, Tahaa produces about 80% of all vanilla in French Polynesia. Taha’a is the only island in the Society Islands that can be completely circled by boat inside the protected lagoon.
With its many deep bays and small deserted motus on the reef, Taha’a is an ideal island to escape the 20th century. Here you can explore the reef and discover the beauty of its multicolored lagoon, enjoy a picnic on a deserted motu or go hiking in the mountains and through the vanilla plantations and learn the mystery of these “orchids”. With only a handful of guest houses and two small hotels, Taha’a is slowly awakening to tourism and yet it still maintains an authentic flavor of Polynesia.
Day 14 Fly Taha’a to USA (Via Papeete)
Say goodbye to Tahitian paradise as you transfer by boat to the airport for your return journey to the USA.
