Brown's has been restored to its rightful position as one of the most intimate and charming hotels in London. The interiors are contemporary and have a real sense of style, while retaining much of their original, quintessentially English elegance.

Set in the heart of Mayfair on Albemarle Street, Brown's is one of the most historic hotels in London. Within a short walk from exclusive Bond Street shopping, West End theatres and St James's, Brown's Hotel was founded in 1837 to provide 'genteel' accommodation for discerning people. Brown's has always had an air of exclusivity and refinement, which it has retained following its extensive refurbishment overseen by The Rocco Forte Collection's Director of Design, Olga Polizzi.

Rapidly reasserting itself as one of London's finest dining venues, Brown's Hotel offers The Grill which under the craftmanship of award-winning Exective Chef, Laurence Glayzer, serves a delicate balance of traditional English fare with a contemporary, continental twist. A long-held British institution, afternoon tea at Brown's still continues in the hotel's English Tea Room serving the best afternoon tea in London.

Brown's offers guests a choice of 117 stylish bedrooms, including 19 luxurious suites (of which four are super luxury and two are Royal).

All of the air-conditioned rooms have dual-line phones, voice messaging, broadband Internet connections and digital flat-screen LCD televisions with interactive video on demand, minibar and safe.

Classic Queen

These rooms have a queen bed. All Classic Queen rooms have a quiet inner court view. They comprise of combined bedroom and living area; includes armchair, coffee table and desk. The size is approximately 28 square metres.

Classic King / Classic Twin

These rooms have a king or twin bed. All Classic King & Classic Twin rooms have a quiet inner court view. These rooms are similar to the Classic Queen room and have an entrance hallway. The size is approximately 32 square metres.

Executive King / Executive Twin

These rooms have a king or twin bed. Executive King & Executive Twin rooms have predominantly a quiet inner court view. These rooms have a combined bedroom and comfortable living area with desk and a walk-in wardrobe. The size is approximately 35 square metres.

Deluxe King / Deluxe Twin

These rooms have a king or twin bed. The Deluxe King & Deluxe Twin rooms have a view over Albemarle Street, Dover Street or a quiet inner court view. All rooms have an entrance hallway that leads into an open plan living room and bedroom. The size is approximately 40 square metres.

Junior Suite

These suites have a king or twin bed. Many of these suites have an entrance hallway that leads into an open plan living room and bedroom, with generous walk-in wardrobe space. The size is approximately 50 square metres.

The Grill at Brown's Hotel

The Grill provides the perfect setting in which to enjoy a relaxing breakfast, a reviving lunch or a romantic dinner. Serving British classics with a modern twist, The Grill offers a full a la carte menu, as well as special set-lunch and pre-theatre dinner menus, along with an extensive wine list.

On entering The Grill, diners are welcomed by renowned Maitre d' Angelo Maresca and his team of dedicated staff. The Grill's brigade of talented chefs produce a delicate balance of English fare and continental cuisine, with a modern twist. Only the finest British produce is used, with an emphasis on the seasons.

English Tea Room

Afternoon tea is synonymous with Brown's. Ever since James Brown established his hotel for 'genteel' folk over 160 years ago, afternoon tea in the hotel's English Tea Room has been a British institution.

Once again the English Tea Room is serving the best afternoon tea in London and preserves its famous discreet and elegant setting, with a choice of teas including Brown's own blend, finely cut sandwiches, freshly baked scones, fine jams and clotted cream, and a selection of cakes and delicate pastries, all combined to make a wonderful and exquisite afternoon tea experience.

The Donovan Bar

The Donovan Bar is one of London’s most vibrant and fashionable watering holes and offers a wide range of ‘must-try’ cocktails and tapas.

Their exciting drinks list includes their award-winning signature cocktail ‘The Space Race’, which is offered alongside a list of over 60 different cocktails and 30 wines and champagnes - of which a large selection is offered by the glass.
