Courtyard Rooms Situated around a quiet inner courtyard, these are rooms that feel like suites. Rich fabrics, mattresses you can sink into and space for a handsome desk complete with all the facilities you’d expect (and some you may not). Approximately 45 square metres / 484 square feet Knightsbridge Deluxe Turret Suites These suites overlook the fashionista’s paradise of Knightsbridge. There are three suites to choose from, the cosy Buckingham Suite, the Brompton Suite set within the turrets on the ninth floor and the Sloane Suite with its large marble bathroom. Facilities Within the hotel you’ll find one of London’s most beautiful spas with professional therapists providing a range of holistic treatments. For something more active we have a state-of-the-art gymnasium. See our recommendations under things to do and see. Younger Fans Outside the hotel is one of London’s largest parks with boating, swimming and riding all available. And for young culture buffs, there’s plenty of options. We’ve made a helpful list for our younger fans. Yoga & fitness We offer a fitness centre and from time to time yoga sessions, please ask our spa for details. Sports The adjacent park means you can walk, jog or even canter your way to fitness. Tennis A five minute walk from our hotel is the Hyde Park Tennis and Sports Centre with 6 outdoor hard courts. It is an entirely relaxed atmosphere. Open: 8:00am to 9:30pm in the summer and only till the end of fair light in the winter. A pro-shop is available for any equipment you may have left at home. There are many different asphalt tracks and grass areas in Hyde Park extensively used for jogging and running. Jogging maps placed in each room of the hotel mark routes that guests may like to try during their stay. Swimming The Serpentine Lido and children’s Paddling Pool are open to the public seven days a week from the end of June to 8th September each year. The dressing rooms are lined with interesting black and white photographs from bygone eras; this has been a Londoner’s escape for over 100 years.
Horse Riding There are five miles of bridleways through scenic Hyde Park and around the Serpentine Lake, a fine setting for horse riding in the capital. The stables offer group and private horse rides, as well as lessons, to both children and adults, at any level of experience. Casual clothes can be worn and riding hats and boots are provided at no extra cost. Cycling Hyde Park has specially designated cycling tracks throughout its 350 acres, which are open to the public. Whilst there are no bicycles for hire in the park, our Concierge is always on hand to assist with any arrangements for a bicycle to be delivered to the hotel for you. Golf Within 40 minutes you can tee off on a championship golf course or within fifteen minutes you can tee off on any course in the world, with the golf simulator situated in the centre of Soho.
