The Cotswold House Hotel, Chipping Campden, Vacations, Honeymoons and Travel Packages

Since taking over Cotswold House Hotel in 1999, we have built on the traditions of this glorious Regency townhouse. Retaining the best of the character and architecture, we have revolutionised the accommodation, restaurants and service to make it one of the finest Cotswold hotels. Our philosophy? That a stay at Cotswold House should be a treat, with a warm welcome, extreme comfort and excellent food. Take a browse around all 30 of our very special rooms; find out about our chef, the Juliana's Restaurant and Hicks' Brasserie; stroll around the gardens; plan days out and places you can visit from a feast of options. And if we can help with any questions, we've answered those too.

The Cotswold House Hotel Restaurant
With such a wealth of wonderful ingredients right on the doorstep, wouldn't it be a crime not to use them? Criminal? It would be insane. Which is why our Head Chef, Steve Love, and his formidable team take their inspiration from the finest offerings of dedicated Cotswold producers - whether it be wholesome crusty breads, locally churned cheeses, home-reared meats, vegetables from the lush Vale of Evesham, or jams and preserves from small-scale artisan producers. All people who care deeply about what they do. The result? The very best of modern British cooking with a good sprinking of Continental influence in there too. No posturing. No pretension. Just wonderful food. And you can sample it all in both Juliana's and Hicks', our all-day brasserie - whichever suits your mood. As for breakfast: homemade marmalade, lavender honey, porridge with whisky, Cotswold yoghurts? Definitiely worth getting out of bed for.
Juliana’s Restaurant You have to experience it at least once during your stay. Juliana's is elegance without pomposity, defining the superb quality of the cooking at Cotswold House and is the showcase for the skills of our Head Chef, Steve Love, and his kitchen team. Immerse yourself in a sophisticated, contemporary environment, surrounded by artwork and design as exciting as the food on your plate.
Hicks’ Brasserie With its sweeping bar and chic, contemporary design, Hicks' Brasserie is the hub of the hotel serving meals and drinks throughout the day. Do what suits you: read the papers from cover to cover with a cafetière of coffee and a pastry. Chat with friends over a bottle of wine, or a light lunch (and pudding of course!). Refuel your engines with tea and scones. Meet for cocktails - we've a tantalising choice and the best bellinis for miles - and, come dinner time, we've a menu that will inspire. You fancy tempura or perfectly cooked seared scallops? You could murder a burger or fish and chips? What about sticky toffee pudding with lashings of cream? It's all there. On warm days, enjoy a drink, coffee, or lunch on the Pavilion Terrace tucked away in the hotel garden, its borders awash with summer colour. Sit under a shady umbrella and enjoy the peace and quiet from morning coffee to your early evening sun-downer.
Juliana’s Bar With its unique light sculpture, fascinating ice bar and roaring log fire, Juliana's bar is the place to unwind at any time of day, from mid-morning coffee to a pre-dinner drink and canapés, while you peruse the menu and choose what you'd like for dinner. Later, sink into soft sofas or red leather armchairs, and end the day with a satisfied stomach and a restorative liqueur.
Pavilion Bar The hum of bees in the borders. The tinkle of ice in your long, cool drink. A good book under a shady umbrella. What a heavenly way to while away the afternoon. Enjoy coffee, drinks, salads and light lunches, proper afternoon teas, early evening sun-downers and all the time in the world, on our sunny terrace. Open on warm days throughout spring and early summer; with refreshments served from our restored Pavilion, it's the perfect hideaway.
