The Grove is part of the largest family-owned and run hotel group in the UK. We have a commitment to friendly, personal service and a resistance to overbearing corporate direction. Our other hotels, the five star Athenaeum in London's Piccadilly, the four-star Runnymede on the Thames near Windsor, and Greengarden House, our serviced apartments off Oxford Street, are one-offs, not me-too outposts of a faceless chain.

Mansion Rooms

Located in the original mansion house with sweeping views over the estate, each room features a king sized bed, luxury bathroom and all our usual selection of Grove facilities. From the Superior or Deluxe rooms to the spacious Executive Studio Suites, to the ultimate one-bedroom Vice Presidential and Presidential suites, every one is individually designed around one of three themes and has its own unique character.

Fresh and classic - a palette of dark timbers, cream textiles and burnt orange with a careful mix of fruitwood antiques and contemporary upholstery evoke the effortless good taste and elegance found in Manhattan and New England.

Cool and contemporary – soothing, spacious and clean lined. The natural colours inspired by Japanese ceramics complement the use of white lacquered furniture, clear perspex and green oak from the estate.

Rich, luxurious and opulent - a fresh take on Victorian exoticism! Thick velvet with beaded tassels combine with black ostrich feathers, velvet-trimmed deep aubergine sheers and black lacquered furniture for a hot, sexy classic.

West Wing Bedrooms

The Superior and Deluxe rooms in the West Wing are beautifully designed to be more open and contemporary with fabrics and finishes retaining their luxurious appeal. Equipped with all the facilities you expect from a luxury hotel, the mood remains rooted in the English countryside with colours chosen from nature, and forms and materials evoking the outdoors.

Superior twin or double - With 29 square metres of airy and contemporary space, these luxury rooms face the Walled Garden.

Deluxe twin or double - A larger space at 34 square metres these spacious rooms all feature a separate bath and walk-in shower, and a balcony or terrace with fabulous views of the formal gardens or golf course.

In each of our three restaurants and bars you will find a blend of high quality ingredients and friendly service.

Colette's

A magnificent six course meal with wine experts pairing each course Awarded three AA Rosettes, our a la carte restaurant serves modern cooking with a classic twist. Located in the Mansion, Colette's has a stylish décor and beautiful views of Charlotte's Vale. Quite simply Colette's is a grown up environment for indulgence!

The Glasshouse

The Glasshouse is an international 'Theatre of Cooking' where chefs perform at lunch and dinner, preparing British, Asian and Mediterranean dishes. These are cooked on rotisseries, in woks and wood fired ovens then invitingly displayed in a buffet style for you to help yourselves.

Surrounded by acres of parkland, woodland and formal gardens, what better setting than The Grove for a romantic and stylish location to tie the knot or celebrate your marriage.

Your Choice - The Amber will accommodate a banquet for up to 380 with a dance floor. Its elegant terrace opens onto a beautiful parkland landscape, making it the ultimate romantic setting.

The Ivory is ideal for a smaller wedding. It will accommodate a banquet for up to 90 with a dance floor and has its own private entrance and reception area. The Ivory's terrace is superb for a reception overlooking the formal gardens.

The Mansion is the perfect place for an intimate wedding. Former home to the Earls of Clarendon, it houses both the Donneraile and the Garden Room, each an exquisite room with original 17th century features, large windows and high ceilings. The Donneraile can accommodate up to 24 for lunch or dinner, with the adjoining Garden Room ideal for a champagne reception.

Wedding Planning - Detail is our speciality. Chauffeur service, menu planning, placement, floral arrangements, lighting, entertainment, wedding cakes etcetera. Our creative team will help you plan your wedding down to the final touch.

Flair is always on the menu - Classic or innovative, your culinary choice will add an important ingredient to a special occasion. Kids' Club

Anouska's Kids' Club at The Grove is our very own OFSTED registered crèche and day nursery for children aged three months and upwards. The philosophy behind Anouska's is to make The Grove as parent and child friendly as possible, by creating a safe, fun environment, where children can explore, be creative and be entertained by our highly professional child carers. The staff at Anouska's hold childcare qualifications or have childcare experience and attend regular courses to update their knowledge to provide high quality care and to cater to every child's needs.

Open seven days a week, from 9:00am to 5:00pm. There is no maximum time limit.

Hold on to your straw hats! We’re in the mood for celebrating the British summer in all her glory. And no summer is complete without a lazy day on the beach. In our case, 17,000 square feet of golden sand enclosed in the privacy of The Grove’s glorious walled garden.

Between our concierge and Sequoia spa treatments designed specifically for sun worshippers, there’ll be no need to leave your luxury lounger. Just say the word and we’ll come give you a massage or anything else you fancy from a choice of specialist beach treatments.

Children will be in sunny heaven playing in their own themed beach hut and play area. And making friends at their very own club – Anouska’s - chockablock with things to do all day long, from tennis, croquet and swimming to giant chess and running around our cool adventure playground

Adults, too, can get up to all sorts, from soccer and cycling along nature trails to core conditioning and Latin jive classes. Of course, there’s also our year-round attractions, like our award-winning luxury spa, world championship golf course, and three restaurants, all with terraces overlooking our 300 acres of lush English parkland.

Golf at The Grove is not a member's club, but a course open to any golfer who loves the game. Playable all year round, the 7152 yard, par 72, championship course is perfect for groups of friends or corporate events, from beginners to seasoned pros.

Tuition is available for anyone just learning to swing a club or those wanting to improve and you can hire clubs if you're just in town for a few days otherwise why not take a golf break and stopover for a night or two.
