The Pear Tree sits in over 7 acres of tranquil grounds on the fringe of the Saxon village of Purton, close to Swindon. Purton is famed for its unique twin towered Parish Church and the ancient hill fort of Ringsbury Camp.

The hotel is surrounded on all sides by Wiltshire farmland with dozens of interesting country walks across fields, over streams and through woodlands.

A perfect base from which to tour the surrounding, colourful Cotswold villages or for visiting historic Blenheim Palace, Bowood House and Sudeley Castle. You can visit them all without having to pack your bags.
