Our Rooms

Spread over five Town Houses, our luxurious collection of bedrooms ensures that guests enjoy the finest of comforts and the ultimate in relaxation. Every guest room is individually designed and finished to the highest possible standard. Whilst some of our rooms boast fine Victorian features, complemented with elegant bathrooms, our newly refurbished rooms have a more contemporary feel with monsoon showers.

Grand Duplex Suite

Grand in both size and style with King-size beds and comfortable seating area. The two Grand Duplex suites have trademark HdV roll top baths in front of open fireplaces, and staircases which lead to wet rooms downstairs.

The Conservatory Suite

This suite has its own conservatory lounge with its own private patio, and overlooks our terraced garden to the rear. A duplex suite, the conservatory suite also has a staircase leading to a wet room downstairs.

Luxury town house suite

King-size four-poster suite, with spacious separate lounge including dining area and full bar facilities. Large Jacuzzi bathroom with

The Mews suite

The Mews Suite provides the ultimate in luxury and privacy for all your requirements.

This two bedroom ‘Duplex Suite’ has a King-size four-poster and a King-size French cradle bed, two separate lounges and a dining area. Features include: two grand bathrooms; two shower rooms, a Jacuzzi, sauna and your own gym equipment. Full bar facilities, sophisticated Bose surround sound system, and plasma and aqua screen TVs throughout. Private entrance to the hotel, reserved private car parking, and exclusive use of the terraced walled garden can be arranged.

The Bistro

On the newly refurbished Bistro menu, which changes daily, you’ll find great classic and modern dishes with a Scottish influence, all supporting our philosophy of quality food, cooked simply with the freshest of local ingredients and sensibly priced.

Wine is, naturally, of fundamental importance with knowledgeable yet friendly staff presenting our incredible selection of carefully selected bottles at reasonable prices.

With capacity for 78 diners, the popular oak panelled Bistro is an intimate and atmospheric dining room, which welcomes both resident and non-resident guests. Please be sure to make a reservation in plenty of time in order to avoid disappointment.

Private dining

The following menus have been prepared for private dining for business or pleasure and are available for a minimum of 8 persons.

These are sample menus only - should you have a particular menu in mind we will be delighted to discuss your requirements. Our award-winning chef will be pleased to cater for any special dietary requirements.

Afternoon Teas

Afternoon teas are served from 2.30pm-5.00pm and are a real treat at Hotel du Vin at One Devonshire Gardens. Teas are served in our lounge areas with large comfortable sofas and chairs, and open fires. Weather permitting they can be served in our secret terraced garden on a sunny afternoon. Afternoon teas make the perfect gift and are also available to purchase from our online gift service, for special occasions.

Champagne Afternoon Tea - Traditional Afternoon Tea served with a glass of Raoul Collet Champagne on arrival

Pink Afternoon Tea in Support of Breast Cancer Care - Traditional Afternoon Tea with a hint of pink, served with a glass of Pink Champagne on the first Sunday of every month.

Our dedicated team will assist you in planning your event to ensure that all your details become our details.

Christmas & Hogmanay - Hotel du Vin Bistro

We look forward to Christmas & New Year in Hotel du Vin at One Devonshire Gardens, the warm glow from the fireplaces, the flickering of candles & the aroma of mulled wine & warm mince pies.

Where better to host a special Christmas or New Year celebration, whether it be a cocktail party, festive afternoon tea, a private dinner for family or friends or your annual Christmas gathering. Whatever the occasion, we will make it a memorable one. A sample private dining menu is included & can be adapted to suit your requirements. The Bistro will be open for residents & non-residents – but please book to avoid disappointment. During the month of December & January we are offering special accommodation rates for events.

One Devonshire Gardens is one of Scotland's most stylish and romantic locations for weddings. Our events co-ordinator will be delighted to help you plan the perfect day including sourcing and liaising with suppliers. On your Wedding day a dedicated team will be on hand to cater for your every need from meeting your guests on arrival to ensuring that the day runs smoothly to the very last moment.

The hotel can host ceremonies for up to 50 guests and is licensed for Civil Marriage and Civil Partnership Ceremonies.
