The Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa is stunningly situated overlooking the infamous 17th Road Hole of the Old Course and is only a short stroll from the heart of the town of St Andrews. Only one hour’s drive from Edinburgh and one and a half hour’s from Glasgow the resort makes an excellent base for touring the Kingdom of Fife, Perthshire and the Highlands.

There is no more spectacular location in all of St Andrews. This fine resort hotel overlooks the manicured acres of its namesake Old Course and across to the sea beyond. It’s an elegantly informal haven of luxury, warm hospitality and exquisite dining.

Eden Rooms

Looking out across the hills of the Kingdom of Fife, our Eden rooms feature first-class traditional furnishings. The bathrooms feature a large, deep bath with a centrally positioned oversized shower head.

Old Course Rooms

As the name suggests, these rooms offer spectacular views across the world-famous Old Course and feature first-class traditional furnishings and décor. The bathrooms feature a large, deep bath with a centrally positioned oversized showerhead.

Eden Suites

These spacious suites look out towards the hills of the Kingdom of Fife. Offering sumptuous décor, they have a striking queen size bed and a large bathroom featuring a whirlpool bath with chromatherapy. Ideal for families, these suites also have a double sofa bed.

Old Course Suites

Full-length windows give a panoramic view of the Old Course and out to the sea. These suites offer a high standard of comfort and design with sumptuous décor including a distinctive cushioned wall covering. All are furnished with Baker furniture and fine accessories. The large bathroom features a whirlpool bath with chromatherapy and a separate shower unit with a body spray water tile system.

Fairway Suites

Overlooking the Old Course, the Fairway Suites feature contemporary décor with both a lounge and dining area, king-size bed and a large bathroom with separate power-shower unit.

Deluxe Suites

Perched above the famous 17th tee of the Old Course, these suites offer spectacular views across the links courses to the sea. Choose from either the elegant Jacques Garcia-designed rooms or the contemporary Amanda Rosa designed rooms.

Jacques Garcia

The Jacques Garcia designed rooms offer the highest levels of design and comfort with a sumptuous deep red décor and Baker furnishings and fittings. Other features include a fireplace, magnificent dining table and a large marble bathroom, which includes separate shower unit with a body spray water tile system and a whirlpool bath with chromatherapy. The large, deep baths feature ceiling-mounted bath fillers instead of conventional taps.

Amanda Rosa

Using natural materials and hung with original contemporary art, the Amanda Rosa designed rooms are both classic and modern. They feature a lounge and dining area, fireplace, king-size bed and two bathrooms, one with luxurious whirlpool bath and power shower unit. These suites have corner positions overlooking the 17th tee where guests can watch golfers attempt the notorious drive over the dark green sheds.

Royal & Ancient Suite

Situated above the famous 17th fairway of the Old Course, the Royal & Ancient Suite offers spectacular views across the links courses to the sea.

The suite features a relaxing lounge with open fireplace and large dining area, bedroom and large marble bathroom with separate changing area. This suite offers the highest standards of design and comfort with traditional décor and furnishings and has a CD player, video and two televisions.
