A Week In London and Paris Luxury Tour Package

So many intriguing images spring to mind at the mere mention of spectacular Scotland. The haunting skirl of the bagpipes… grand castles and Highlanders’ humble cottages… wonderful woolens and treasured family tartans… wee drams of single malt whiskies, famous around the world… the strong traditions of the Clans… fascinating history… incredible scenery… a uniquely vibrant, living culture so lovingly preserved - Scotland has it all. If you have just a week for Scotland travel, this journey is the perfect choice.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1 – Welcome to Scotland
A sightseeing tour of Glasgow highlights the city’s noted Victorian architecture. Tour departs: Glasgow International Airport one hour after the arrival of our selected flight(s). See magnificent Glasgow Cathedral before departing for the famous bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. Meet your Scotland travel companions at a welcome reception and dinner this evening.
Meals: Lunch, dinner
Lodging: De Vere Cameron House, Loch Lomond, Scotland

Day 2 – Castles and Malt Whisky
In Stirling, Scotland travel to the grand Scottish Renaissance Stirling Castle, perched on a hill high above the city. A private tour of the Glenturret Distillery reveals how Scotland’s famed single malt whisky is made; enjoy tasting a wee dram of the finished product. Travel through Rob Roy country in the Trossachs.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Lodging: De Vere Cameron House, Loch Lomond, Scotland

Day 3 – Fort William to the Loch Ness Monster
While in Scotland travel across moor and mountain on a scenic journey from Fort William, along the shores of brooding Loch Ness to Inverness, capital of the Highlands. Enjoy a festive Scottish evening, complete with bagpipers and highland dancers.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Lodging: Inverness Marriott Hotel, Inverness, Scotland

Day 4 – Highland Fling
Few people would believe that palm trees grow in Scotland, but they can be found at Inverewe Gardens, on Scotland’s northwest coast. Enjoy a guided visit to these exceptional gardens, which contain plant specimens from all over the world. Alternatively, spend the day as you please, perhaps exploring more of Scotland’s history at the famous battlefield in nearby Culloden or playing a game of golf. Learn about the history of clan tartans and Scottish kilts tonight.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Lodging: Inverness Marriott Hotel, Inverness, Scotland

Day 5 – Blair Castle
As your Scotland travel experience continues, drive through the Grampian Highlands and Cairngorm Mountains to Blair Atholl, the site of majestic Blair Castle, where history comes alive as you imagine the life of the noble class in 16th-century Scotland; some 30 rooms contain relics of that age.
Meals: Breakfast, dinner
Lodging: The Balmoral, Edinburgh, Scotland

Day 6 – Exploring Edinburgh
Discover Scotland’s lively capital city, from stately Edinburgh Castle, at the top of the Royal Mile, to Holyroodhouse, the Queen’s official home when she visits Edinburgh [subject to closure when Her Majesty is in residence]. If you choose a departure date for your Scotland travel between July 28th and August 18th, you’ll have the unforgettable thrill of attending the world-famous Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
Meals: Breakfast
Lodging: The Balmoral, Edinburgh, Scotland

Day 7 – Shrine to Golf
For passionate golfers, lovely St. Andrews is an almost-holy place – and it comes as no surprise that this historic town has much more than just golfing history to offer. Alternatively, you can choose to remain in Edinburgh for further exploration on your own. Share memories of your Scotland travel adventure with your new friends at a farewell dinner this evening.
Meals: Breakfast, dinner
Lodging: The Balmoral, Edinburgh, Scotland

Day 8 – Journey Home
We wish you a pleasant trip home after your Scotland travel. Tour ends: Glasgow International airport 2 ½ hours before the departure of our selected flight(s).
Meals: Breakfast
