Once every 10 years, Oberammergau, a tiny, picturesque village in the heart of the Bavarian Alps, reenacts an event which draws people of every religious denomination from the four corners of the world to witness the most poignant and moving story ever told. The sheer spectacle of the performance is beyond any West End or Broadway production, and is not to be missed.

Day 1 - Overnight flight from USA
Day 2 - Arrive London (2 nights)
Time to relax after checking into your hotel.

Day 3 - London at leisure
The day is at leisure to explore the city. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 4 - London – Amsterdam
Greetings from our Tour Director as we drive to Dover to board our ferry to Calais. Then we drive through Belgium to lively Amsterdam. (Continental breakfast)
Hotel: Dorint Amsterdam Airport
Day 5 - Amsterdam – Rhineland
First to German Cologne, then we take a scenic Rhine cruise before continuing to our hotel. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 6 - Rhineland – Oberammergau
This morning we drive south along the Rhine Valley and then head for the picturesque region of Bavaria. First we enjoy an included lunch before continuing to the charming village of Oberammergau to attend the Passion Play performance at 2.30pm. In the interval dinner is included at a restaurant and the play then concludes at 10.30pm. All passengers will be transferred to their overnight accommodation after the play. (Buffet breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Day 7 - Oberammergau – Innsbruck – Venice
This morning we depart from the Oberammergau region and rejoin our tour in Innsbruck and continue with our regular itinerary through the Brenner Pass to the magical city of Venice. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 8 - Venice – Rome (2 nights)
This morning we drive via Bologna and the Apennines to Tuscany. Then through Umbria and Lazio to Rome. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 9 - Rome sightseeing & at leisure
Our sightseeing tour features St. Peter’s Basilica and views of the Forum and the mighty Colosseum. There is free time later to explore on your own. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 10 - Rome – Florence
We drive through Umbria to the Renaissance city of Florence in Tuscany. Here we enjoy spectacular views of the city from Piazzale Michelangelo before having time to visit Piazza Signoria, the Duomo and Giotto’s Bell Tower, or to shop for high quality leather goods and 18-carat gold jewellery before continuing to our hotel. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 11 - Florence – Lake Lucerne (2 nights)
First we cross through the Apennines to the great northern plain and pass by the city of Milan. Then we head north to the Swiss border passing stunning Lake Como before taking the scenic Gotthard route to Lake Lucerne. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 12 - Lucerne orientation & at leisure
Orientation shows us the medieval Chapel Bridge and the poignant Lion Monument. Then you have time to perhaps ascend a nearby mountain peak or shop for delicious chocolates and precision-made timepieces. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
Day 13 - Lake Lucerne – Paris (2 nights)

Day 14 - Paris sightseeing
