Day 1 - Depart USA

Day 2 - Arrive London (2 nights)

Day 3 - London sightseeing and at leisure
Many major sights are included on our morning sightseeing tour. Then enjoy free time at leisure to explore this exciting city. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 4 - London – Amsterdam
Greetings from your Tour Director! We cross the English Channel to Calais then on to Amsterdam via Belgium. Tonight, we enjoy a Welcome Drink with our fellow travelers before a canal boat cruise. (Continental breakfast)

Day 5 - Amsterdam – Rhine Cruise – Rhineland
This morning we head for Germany and Cologne. Later we enjoy a Rhine cruise before reaching our hotel. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 6 - Rhineland – Heidelberg – Munich – Innsbruck
First to Heidelberg to view its castle. Then to Munich where we see the Marienplatz and Olympic Stadium. Then on to Innsbruck. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 7 - Innsbruck – Venice (2 nights)
Orientation features the Golden Roof and St. Jakob’s Cathedral. Then across the Brenner Pass into Italy to Venice via Verona. (Buffet breakfast)
Hotel: B4 Venezia - Mestre
Day 8 - Venice sightseeing and at leisure
We cruise to St. Mark’s Square to see the Bridge of Sighs and Doge’s Palace. Our Tour Director shows us a Hidden Treasure and we see how glass is made. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
Day 9 - Venice – Vienna (2 nights)
Back to the mainland and the Austrian Lake District. Then across the Styrian Alps en route to the musical city of Vienna. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 10 - Vienna sightseeing and at leisure
Sightseeing shows us the Opera, Parliament, the Imperial Boulevards, the Hofburg and Stadtpark. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 11 - Vienna – Budapest (2 nights)
We cross the Hungarian border stopping at Györ. On through the vineyards of Transdanubia to Budapest. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 12 - Budapest sightseeing and at leisure
Sightseeing features the Great Synagogue and the Fishermen’s Bastion. Tonight, we enjoy a traditional Hungarian Highlight Dinner with music. (Buffet breakfast / Highlight dinner)
Day 13 - Budapest – Sibiu
Sibiu orientation, then to Bucharest where sightseeing shows us the Metropolitan Cathedral, Triumphal Arch and Opera. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 14 - Sibiu – Bucharest
We drive to Bucharest where we see the Metropolitan Cathedral and Triumphal Arch. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 15 - Bucharest – Sofia (2 nights)
We cross the River Danube and enter Bulgaria where we soon reach the capital, Sofia. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 16 - Sofia sightseeing and at leisure
Orientation includes the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Later free time to explore. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
Day 17 - Sofia – Kalambaka
We follow the valley of the River Struma into Greece. Later we enjoy fine views of the Plains of Thessaly en route to Kalambaka. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 18 - Kalambaka – Athens (4 nights)
First we see the site of the Battle of Thermopylae, then on to the Oracle at Delphi, before arriving in Athens. (Buffet breakfast)

Days 19, 20 & 21 - Athens at leisure
Three full days at leisure or take a three-day Aegean Islands cruise? (Buffet breakfast / Buffet breakfast / Buffet breakfast)
Day 22 - Athens – At sea
First a guided tour of the Acropolis, then we cross the impressive Corinth Canal and continue on to Patras for our ferry to Italy. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
Day 23 - Bari – Pompeii – Sorrento
We head west for the Bay of Naples, where we take a guided walking tour of the extensive excavations of Pompeii. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 24 - Sorrento – Isle of Capri – Rome (3 nights)
We cruise to Capri where we enjoy a guided walking tour before continuing to Rome, the Eternal City. (Buffet breakfast)

Days 25 & 26 - Rome sightseeing and at leisure
Sightseeing includes a guided visit of Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica and the Colosseum. The rest of the time is at leisure. (Buffet breakfast / Buffet breakfast)
Day 27 - Rome – Florence – Montecatini
Our Florence guide shows us the Duomo, Signoria Square, Santa Croce and a Hidden Treasure, then on to Montecatini. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 28 - Montecatini – Pisa – Nice (2 nights) – Monte Carlo excursion
First the Leaning Tower of Pisa before driving to Nice, with a visit to Monaco and a Highlight Dinner tonight. (Buffet breakfast / Highlight dinner)

Day 29 - Nice – Côte d'Azur excursion
We visit fashionable Cannes, famous for its film festival, and a local perfumery. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 30 - Nice – Engelberg (2 nights)
We head north through Italy to Switzerland and the ski resort of Engelberg near Lake Lucerne. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 31 - Lucerne orientation and at leisure
We see the Lion Monument and Chapel Bridge, then free time to shop for watches and chocolate or ascend a mountain peak! (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
Day 32 - Engelberg – Paris (2 nights)
We return to France, passing the Burgundy vineyards, and arrive in Paris. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 33 - Paris sightseeing and at leisure
We ascend to the second level of the Eiffel Tower, drive along the Champs Élysées and see Notre Dame. Later we enjoy a Farewell Dinner to say ‘au revoir’! (Buffet breakfast / Farewell dinner)
Day 34 - Paris – London – USA
‘Au revoir’ to Paris as our tour comes to an end. (Buffet breakfast)
