Journey through London, colorful Amsterdam, old-fashioned Germany and Innsbruck before exploring Italy's most beloved cities. Once every 10 years, Oberammergau, a tiny, picturesque village in the heart of the Bavarian Alps, reenacts an event which draws people of every religious denomination from the four corners of the world to witness the most poignant and moving story ever told. The sheer spectacle of the performance is beyond any West End or Broadway production, and is not to be missed. The trip concludes with 2 nights each in Lucerne and Paris.

Day 1 - Depart USA
Overnight flight to London.
Day 2 - Arrive London (2 nights)
Welcome to London!
Hotel: Holiday Inn Regents Park
Day 3 - London sightseeing & at leisure
Enjoy the many major sights that are included in our morning sightseeing tour, with free time afterwards to explore on your own. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 4 - London – Amsterdam
We cross the Channel to Calais, in France, then on to Amsterdam where we see Dam Square, the Mint Tower and enjoy a canal cruise in a glass-topped boat, before enjoying a Welcome Drink. (Continental breakfast)

Day 5 - Amsterdam – Rhine Cruise – Rhineland
We drive via Arnhem, scene of the film ‘A Bridge too far’, into Germany and continue to Cologne to see the gothic cathedral before continuing to Boppard to take a scenic Rhine cruise. Then we continue to our hotel. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 6 - Rhineland – Oberammergau
This morning we drive south along the Rhine Valley and then head for the picturesque region of Bavaria. First we enjoy an included lunch before continuing to the charming village of Oberammergau to attend the Passion Play performance at 2.30pm. In the interval dinner is included at a restaurant and the play then concludes at 10.30pm. All passengers will be transferred to their overnight accommodation. (Buffet breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Day 7 - Oberammergau – Venice
After breakfast we rejoin our touring coach and fellow travelers before resuming the regular itinerary as we continue to Venice via Innsbruck. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
Day 8 - Venice – Rome (2 nights)
Today we head south across the Veneto plain, then cross the forested Apennine hills and cross through Tuscany and Umbria to reach the Eternal City of Rome. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 9 - Rome sightseeing & at leisure
This morning our guided tour includes a visit to St Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican City, views of the Forum and the mighty Colosseum, before there is time at leisure. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 10 - Rome – Florence
Today we head north to Florence where our guided tour includes the cathedral, baptistery, Signoria Square, Santa Croce Basilica and a Hidden Treasure! Then free time to sightsee further or to shop for fine leather and gold before we enjoy a Highlight Dinner together. (Buffet breakfast / Highlight dinner)

Day 11 - Florence – Lugano – Lucerne (2 nights)
Today we travel north across the Apennines, pass by the northern commercial center of Milan and continue to Swiss lakeside Lugano. Then we take the scenic alpine Gotthard route to Lucerne in central Switzerland. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 12 - Lucerne orientation and at leisure
Our orientation includes the poignant Lion Monument and the wooden Chapel Bridge. Then time to take a mountain excursion or shop for Swiss souvenirs. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
Day 13 - Lucerne – Paris (2 nights)
This morning we cross the border into France and drive through wine-producing Burgundy. We continue northwards and later arrive in lively glittering Paris for the next two nights. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 14 - Paris sightseeing & at leisure
Our guided tour features the Place de la Concorde, Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower, which we ascend to the second level. Then we have time at leisure to relax or explore further. Later, we enjoy a celebratory Farewell Dinner with our Tour Director and fellow travelers in a local restaurant. (Buffet breakfast / Farewell dinner)
Day 15 - Paris – London – USA
Time to bid farewell to our Tour Director and new-found friends. (Buffet breakfast)
