Day 1 - Depart USA
Overnight flight to London.
Day 2 - Arrive London (2 nights)
Welcome to London!
Hotel: Holiday Inn Regents Park
Day 3 - London sightseing and at leisure
Many major sights are included on our morning sightseeing tour. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 4 - London – Paris (2 nights)
First we take the Channel ferry to Calais and drive across World War I battlefields, and visit the Vimy Ridge Memorial. Then we travel on to Paris, where we enjoy a Welcome Drink. (Continental breakfast)
Hotel: Renaissance La Defense
Day 5 - Paris sightseeing and at leisure
We ascend to the second level of the Eiffel Tower, drive along the Champs Élysées to the Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame Cathedral. Then time at leisure. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 6 - Paris – Chartres – Bordeaux
Our first stop is at Chartres, renowned for its cathedral’s windows. Then we continue on to the Loire at Tours and the wine-region of Bordeaux for the night. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 7 - Bordeaux – Lourdes
Through the vineyards of Sauternes and Graves to Lourdes where we see the basilica on top of St. Bernadette’s grotto. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 8 - Lourdes – Pau – Biarritz – Burgos
After breakfast, we head to medieval Pau, then on to seaside Biarritz. Then into Spain and Burgos with its gothic cathedral. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 9 - Burgos – Madrid (2 nights)
Our morning drive takes us across the Sierra de Guadarrama to Madrid. Later we enjoy a guided tour of the Prado Museum. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 10 - Madrid sightseeing and at leisure
Our morning sightseeing tour features the Royal Palace and Plaza de España. Then time at leisure or take an optional excursion to the Valley of the Fallen. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 11 - Madrid – Barcelona (2 nights)
We pass Guadalajara and the Gorges of Jalon and enter Aragon. See the ruins of the Castle of Somayen en route to Barcelona. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 12 - Barcelona sightseeing and at leisure
The old Cathedral and art nouveau fantasies of Gaudi highlight our sightseeing tour. Tonight, why not experience the passion of a fiery flamenco show. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 13 - Barcelona – Cannes (2 nights)
We drive to sophisticated Cannes. Our Highlight Dinner with wine is at a local restaurant this evening. (Buffet breakfast / Highlight dinner)

Day 14 - Cannes – Monaco and perfumery excursion
First to Monaco where we see the Royal Palace and the cathedral where Princess Grace is buried. Today our Tour Director will share a surprising Hidden Treasure with us! Later, we will visit a perfumery before returning to Nice. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 15 - Cannes – Pisa – Montecatini
This morning we drive past Genoa, Columbus’ birthplace, before arriving in Pisa to view the incredible Leaning Tower. Then on to the popular spa town of Montecatini for the night. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 16 - Montecatini – Florence – Assisi
Our guided walking tour of Florence features the cathedral, baptistery, Santa Croce Basilica, Signoria Square and the Academy to see Michelangelo’s statue of David. Time at leisure before continuing to Assisi. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 17 - Assisi – Pompeii – Sorrento
We see the Basilica of St. Francis and the Church of Santa Maria degli Angeli. Next, past the Abbey of Monte Cassino before we enjoy a guided walking tour of Pompeii. Finally, on to our hotel in Sorrento. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 18 - Sorrento – Isle of Capri – Rome (2 nights)
Visit the enchanting Isle of Capri where a guided walking tour takes in the Piazzetta and views over the Faraglioni rocks. Enjoy time on your own before we cruise to Naples and on to Rome. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 19 - Rome sightseeing and at leisure
Our tour features a visit to St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican and views of the Forum, the mighty Colosseum and Circus Maximus. Then there is time at leisure. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 20 - Rome – Venice (2 nights)
We drive through the Apennine Mountains, then via Bologna and past Padua to the magical city of Venice. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 21 - Venice sightseeing and at leisure
Savour this Byzantine jewel on a canal cruise by private launch to St. Mark’s Square, viewing the Bridge of Sighs. After a visit to a glass-blowing factory, time is your own to explore or take a lagoon cruise. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
Day 22 - Venice – Vienna (2 nights)
The Carnic Alps herald the Austrian border. We travel across the great Alpine highways en route to Vienna. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 23 - Vienna sightseeing and at leisure
Our sightseeing tour shows us the Opera, the Hofburg, Stadtpark, Parliament and Imperial Boulevards. The rest of the day is at leisure. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 24 - Vienna – Salzburg
We follow the Danube Valley to Salzburg for a guided walking tour. Tonight we enjoy a Highlight Dinner. (Buffet breakfast / Highlight dinner)
Hotel: Austria Trend Europa
Day 25 - Salzburg – Innsbruck – Munich
First orientation in Innsbruck, then on to Germany and Munich, where we see the Olympic Stadium and the City Hall. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 26 - Munich – Liechtenstein – Lucerne (2 nights)
This morning we travel south and visit Vaduz, capital of the tiny Principality of Liechtenstein. Then to lakeside Lucerne. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 27 - Lucerne orientation and at leisure
Orientation includes a visit to the famous Lion Monument and the Chapel Bridge. Then the rest of the day is at leisure to shop or relax. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 28 - Lucerne – Freiburg – Heidelberg – Rhine Cruise – Boppard
We drive via Freiburg to Heidelberg to view its impressive castle. Next we enjoy a Rhine cruise to Boppard. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 29 - Boppard – Amsterdam
We see Cologne’s gothic cathedral, then cross the Dutch border to Amsterdam where first we enjoy a cruise through the canals in our glass-topped boat and then a Farewell Dinner. (Buffet breakfast / Farewell dinner)

Day 30 - Amsterdam – London
We drive to Calais for our channel ferry to Dover and back to London. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 31 - London – USA
