Itinerary

Day 1 Edinburgh

On arrival at the Edinburgh Airport you will be met by PerryGolf personnel who will assist you with your luggage and transfer to your transportation. Today play Carnoustie (tbc), host to the British Open on six previous occasions and considered by many to be the most challenging of all Open venues. While the links is relatively flat it is exposed to the elements. A combination of length and accuracy are required from the tee and approach shots demand precision to the greens heavily guarded by steep bunkers and burns. Arguably the toughest finishing holes in championship golf, the course will host the world's best again in 2007 when the Open returns to this wonderful venue. Please note there is one golf cart available to hire for medical certificate holders. Certain restrictions may apply, please advise your Golf Travel Specialist.

Day 2 Old Course - St Andrews

Today challenge the Old Course of St. Andrews (tbc), the ''Home of Golf''. The Old Course has played host to the greatest golfers in the world and produced many of golf's dramatic moments. Wide double fairways, seven extensive double greens, and a multitude of intimidating bunkers are just some of the unique features you will encounter

Day 3 Kingsbarns

Today play Kingsbarns (tbc). Its historical origins date back to 1793. Its sandy, linksland soils are the basis for this heritage, and produce the fine-bladed fescues which are the cornerstone of fast-and-firm playing surfaces that characterise links golf. Designed by Kyle Phillips and opened anew in 2000, its rebirth has been shared with golfers from near and far with outstanding reviews. The links features spacious rolling fairways, large greens, and exceptional sea views on every hole. A challenging yet enjoyable champion-standard traditional Scottish links course.

Day 4 Sightseeing - Ayrshire- Western Gailes

Play today at Western Gailes (tbc), rated by many visitors to Scotland as its finest ''unknown'', and perhaps its most enjoyable. The course relies on natural defenses created by the sand dunes and wind. A traditional links layout that plays in a loop with its toughest stretch along the banks of the dunes that generally plays into the prevailing wind.

Day 5 Royal Troon

Play Royal Troon (tbc). Eight time venue of the British Open, the course played host to the 2004 Championship and was praised for its testing but fair set up. A long and demanding links, Troon unusually boasts both the longest and the shortest holes in Open Championship golf, being the Postage Stamp 8th at 126 yards, and the 6th at 577 yards 6th named Turnberry. Please note that the green fee includes buffet lunch in the Ailsa Suite of Royal Troon clubhouse and an optional round on the Portland subject to availability if not prebooked.

Day 6 Alisa

Play the Ailsa Course (tbc) at the Westin Turnberry Resort. Lying on a spectacular curve of rockbound coast in the southern reaches of Ayrshire, the Ailsa Course is scheduled to host the 2009 British Open, having been previous host on three occasions with Tom Watson, Greg Norman and Nick Price as winners.

Day 7 Glasgow

Depart the United Kingdom from the Glasgow Airport.
